This year is really a year of great changes~~
Original plans changed...plans remade...
For good or for bad, i'm still not sure....

I have decided to stay at my current company, turning from intern to a full timer. How long, i'm not sure. But right now, despite of some minor issues, i'm happy working here. The enviroment may not be all great~ but i hv nice n friendly colleagues and the working area is at least comfy. Well, like dad say, impt thing is to learn stuffs and put them to use. So i'm taking this as a learning experience, and looking forward to making and performing great results at this company.

Tryin to get back into the routine of doing personal drawings...personal projects...but too much has been goin on. Too many debates, too many sorting out, too many weighing of options...and too tired... Really hope to get some decent rest before i start working, but well, i guess i can't really afford to do that. Finally settled down after the big decision, its like a big stone smashed. Suddenly, all too relieved...relaxed... til i hv no mood to do anithin else... jus wan to enjoy working here for the moment before i slowly pick myself up again and see where i should head on from now on.....

I have chosen a path against wat ppl normally wud take...rite now, i sincerely pray to Gym that, its the right choice. (Never would have thought that i would have to use illustrator so intensely one day. I used to hate them... but now its part of my tool.)

Recently i've been all about fighting games. Bought my first PC GAME!! Authentic! lol... Street Fighter 4 for PC, and an arcade fight stick to grind with. The game is really hard to play though, doing combos and all, but its a real challenge. Making it look more like real fighting. Well i'll be working hard to master this game!! The reason i wanted to do it because i'm an joystick idiot...hadoken and shoryuken idiot. I cant do it for shit, and a guy who doesn't know how to play street fighter...shud really jus go bang a wall...LOL!

This year i received a couple of presents, startin from brother, got me a bunch of toys from taiwan, followed by firdaus & Daphne and then 911 party. Right now, i'm waiting for Med's present, a set of figurine which i had wanted since last year. Well i guess its still on its way~~ i got myself something too. Maybe i'll post them up when its here.

This few weeks, has been a month of decision making and realization...
Made alot of decision and rethink the decision i made and then making decision and rethinking them again...But today...i finally got the one answer...

Revert back to the old situation...this one word has made me conclude my decision...

After the final decision has been made, i'm finally relieved...and unstressed... had alot of support from med, brother and friends....

The war between the uncle and my brother's friend is over too...we came to a mutual understanding. Apparently, bro's fren's sister gave away bro's fren dog...and decided to wan it back, but the concurrent owner refused...after a ugly confrontation...we sorted it out calmly and managed to resolved the situation, with both side happy. And i'm glad to be of help...

This weekend was rather relaxing, eating, having fun...Went to CG overdrive las week and it was an eye opener...i guess... saw a live demo of professionals doing a digital painting...its really amazing...but i din really get a shot...cos my phone's camera is really..zzz...

Nothing much to say at the moment, jus feeling very relieved....

During the live demo, i decided to go bomb....and when i turn ard from the partition, this was wat i saw...yea can you even see the toilet's sign? i almost crap in my pants....

Our first time at manpuku~~food is pretty good, and not really expensive as well, maybe i'll hold my bday celebration wif 911 here... :)

Recently i've been hangin out at Iluma's arcade alot... And we came upon this hilarious scene las week. 4 dudes on this arcade machine where u need to jump n jump to race thru obstacles. Well, there were alot of onlookers...LOL.

Well nice try, he tried to avoid the camera, but he seems like he was posing for the camera though.

Freaking imba long queue that never shortens...

You might think this is big, but the i think the one who made the floss kinda dulan me...cos ours is like the smallest he made.... those i saw is like at least 1/4 bigger....zzz

Imba big candy floss, everyone was freaking queueing at the IT show at suntec. Costing at $1.40 each, its pretty cheap as compared to pasar malam one. But eatin such a big floss is really pretty zzz... when we were 1/4 left, i was basically gonna vomit...

Hmmm.. not too sure wat this was for, but well, i saw a T-rex at tampines. LOL.

Our store is finally up and running, and finally selling our first bag on the second day...if i rem... This was the layout before yesterday. My bosses went down to rearrange the display in the front and changed them into alot of trexis and toys. Med and i agreed that maybe there should be more wallpaper of toys or images of the toys we have to make it look more fun. It looks kinda high classy and all.... but nonetheless, it still looks really cool, especially after the re layout yesterday.

Karas~

Last night i was watching this anime, Karas. Well i have to say that the storyline and visuals are really very impressive. An anime from the henshin genre by Tatsunoko, the methods of production and storyline are not something u wud be able to see in normal animes. The fight scenes especially is incredibly good. Because of this anime, i've decided that i'll be gettin the figurine produced by Max factory. Surprisingly, the person who sculpted or designed this figurine was none other den Kenji Ando, one of the other sculptor for the S.I.C series.

Dilema n a busybody...

For the past few weeks, i've been so busy and shagged out by work that i have practically stop doin anithin once i'm home. LOL.

Trying to remind myself to not do that and pushing myself to do wat i'm supposed to do. By chance recently, i came across this school who is providing professional certs for wat i really wan to do and learn, downside was, the cost is almost on par with my degree. So wat shud i do... the advantage was, the course is shorter...guess this will have to be up to me to decide...(its abt digital paintin, matte paintin, some entertainment design and character design.)

Today, i had to accompany Med at the gallery, and well, some busybody came up to me while we were watchin video on Med's laptop. Can't really remember wat he said but here goes...

dude: Is your work in this exhibition?
me: Yea, its behind..why? (wtf m i tt famous?)
dude: which course r u guys from?
me: visual communication... (why do u even care....)
dude: the lights for the interior design exhibits are not on...
me: erm...ic...we're from visual comm... (r u deaf or wat? i jus said i'm from visual comm)
dude: but you're the gallery sitter rite? i think you have the responsibility to on their lights...
me: (F*** u...) the gallery sitter for interior design is over the other side, together with the product design peeps...

alrite...i know this sounds like i'm super keh gao kia, but well, we spent a good sunday to come down and sit in for the gallery, and if~ the interior ppl dun even give a damn~ why shud we? while they're enjoyin their sunday at home? I shud hv jus ask the jitoot dude if he was frm interior....well...god bless him i forgot....

recently i'm addicted to tatsunoko vs capcom...well, its a fantastic game, with the aerial combos and watever combos...its hard to stop. And Iluma bugis has 3 of these machines... so everytime i go to bugis for this few days, i'll jus drop by the arcade for a shot... had a try at SF4, and well, its really different and hard...sigh.... with punches slower and harder to combine, and special move harder to execute...its a pain in the ass for a joystick idiot like me to play....

For toy fans, Play imaginative at Iluma is finally opened and features alot of designer stuffs and cool toys. Do check it out, you won't miss it, its by the entrance outside Iluma. I got myself some nice badgee from Popkartsg the other day as well...they looks damn cool....(my interest in stuff is getting really random and strayin from wat i wud be interested in the past...)

The badges i bot at popkartsg....recently i really like Thor after i read 1602 from Marvel written by Neil Gaiman. Its a really cool story. And of cos, iron mans...who can not love ironman...and the other dude is the flash...bot it cos the matt finish is really nice. The batman was part of a free gifts i received after i announced Firdaus's name...hahaha....he's my in charge at my intern work place. These badges r not those diy badges, from wat i'm told, they're actually authentic licensed product by one of the designers of mighty mugg. He has decided to start his own merchandise with all these badges. Its for sale at $2 per piece at popkartsg at Iluma Bugis entrance.

Hmmm...saw Cheng bot jim this jelly lens thing...so i went to buy a stretch lens for Med as well...haven try it out tho...haha...

Whahaha...my Kamen rider 1 & 2 caught by Med at the UFO machine @ Downtown. $3 spent in total. Simply love them...hurhurhurhur...have been addicted to UFO machine nowadays again...zz...

Finally used my spiderman keychain on my sling bag...might as well use it, or else it wud hv been a waste....

Canon Pixma Memory Drives Trexi

Had a sudden attack of sore eye again, work up wrongly? slept too late? room too dirty? not too sure... Had to get an mc and new eye drops from clinic, cost me $25~~ Previous eye drop expired alr, so i had no choice, the eye drop is really good, apart from the whopping $15 per bottle. Size is jus like those normal eye drops. Sigh~~

Feeling pretty embarassed as boss told me that i shud tk care of myself and not take so much offs~~ zzz... all thanks to Lasalle's superb management... i had to keep taking off for the Lasalle show 09. And i'm like 240% sure tt imagin comm is not even the main lead... or maybe not even a side dish. Med was askin me why is our exhibit in a long and thin format,

"So that all can line up in a straight line and stuff at one side of the cold corner of the wall ma~~"

LOL! I missed out the poster design of the Trexi competition, due to my absence yesterday~ but i got to design a pair of Canon Pixma Memory drives trexi!! It's the 3inch version, jus that the body contains a thumb drive. I doubt i'm allowed to post the image, so well, i guess i'll have to wait til its manufactured~~ Although my deadline was by 6~ i had to do it til 715 and even bringin it home to do... but~ no stress at all...cos its like super fun...

Its been 2 days since i was at Play imaginative~~ its kinda amazing and unbelievable what i do there~~ yes its only 2 days and its like a dream come true. First day was alrite, doing some color correction for Tofu keychains~ apparently the manufacturer got the color all dull~~ so i'm supposed to pantone it to a correct color. That itself took me like 3/4 day~~ den it was the relay out of a print ad for the up coming Comic convention that's meant for various magazines... Had to take 2 days off due to degree interview and exhibition panels submissions~~

Today was kinda fun as well, had an unexpected job from boss~~ Logo design for a cafe!! LOL. Maybe i'm a swakoo who nv work in design firm b4...so it was kinda unbelievable... having fun when you're workin... Was kinda stressed at first, cos i was afraid i wasn't up to the standard...but well...guess it was a close shave~~

Was feeling rather down a couple of days ago, i guess wat i heard during my interview wasn't really encouraging. Although i alr know wat to expect, but well...it still hits hard... Was glad that a couple of fren gave me concerns when they saw my emotiboy msn nick~~LOL! Had an unexpected help from a friend whom i din really know well...lol~ that's Michelle~~my classmate las year, we dun really talk much~ but most of my fren is aware of her ability~~ well upon talking to her and all~~ i finally have a rough idea wat i cud maybe do~~

I've decided to start a sketchbook exchange with Med~~ naming the book as Maze~~迷宫.

Apart from that, i've decided to create a separate creative blog from this as well, to act as my online portfolio~ digital drawing...traditional or watever... i guess maybe that'll help push me to do more works~ and i guess i'll be implementing some personal projects for this 3 months as well... how far or how well it would go~~ i guess i'll jus have to start tryin and stop thinking~~
I guess all along i had a lot of very inspiring ppl, jus tt i din take time to notice~~ well, looking at Rayz blog was an eye-opener....

Well...its kinda funnie lookin bak at my blog post...been mentioning it alot...but din really do anithin much~~ guess my resolution for this year...is to fulfil wat i set out to do today....i'll uploading my sketches in time i guess. :)

Sigh, jus got my new phone today...decided to jus grab the Samsung Pixon...the xiao ding dang phone instead of F480...cos of the camera...not sure if its good or bad...but zzz...i got it alr....

Was trying to transfer my updated numbers to my sim card, but deleted the updated numbers on my phone instead....tmd sway dao bao.....den as i was painting on Painter...suddenly crash...wasting my 45mins of color adjusting and paintings... so now a bit sian alr...dun feel like doing anithin alr...

Went to Tampines 1 for dinner today at Kimgary today. Well, apparently people thought that its gonna be only opened for a week or something. Cos the crowd is like, if u go there n walk for 5mins u get 500 million dollars. Well, the crowd is still crazy... and we had to queue for kimgary. Something happened as we were on the queue.... the BBQ chicken shop beside Kimgary suddenly had one representative to go n tiu the Kimgary manager. Because the queue is blocking his door. I tot, if your food is good...even if u no door, ppl oso will dig a door in.... aniwae, i felt that the architecture of Tampines is pretty bad. Apparently human traffic flow wasn't taken into consideration.

They have a bloody big pool at the basement, in exchange for people having to squeeze along the mini pathway to walk across. No seats oso. They had Kimgary, an eatery by the escalator's side. So what happen when there's a long queue? BBQ gets blocked.... I dun even wan to talk about Carl's Jr's pathetic amount of seats available....i think its not even enough for my whole class to go eat comfortably.....zzz. The narrow and tight passage way in front of Uniqlo is crazy as well...with people cheonging in like t-shirts are free? They might as well shut down the escalator. There's this japanese buffet thingy that was tucked in at one superbly tight corner...and queue snaking their way out....well...i guess tt's not too bad considering if the queue at kimgary got longer, i might have to queue on the escalator......Maybe the design was considered in the first place, den the next possibility is that, Asiamall din consider how the shops will obstruct the human traffic...aniwae...like they wud care as long as they're paid with rents....sigh. I guess this is a perfect example of good design gone awry....

Finally settled Weiming's Momo chinatown thingy...guess its time to start concentrating on my imagebook now....Hope i can slot in sometime to do some painting and coloring my models...without any disaster happening....sigh...

This few day was as usual...tiring week due to my last minute at work again, wrote and edited my supposed to be graphic novel into a novel. Siggghhh.... Initially i wanted to plan my g.novel in words so that i can keep track of my story direction. The story ended up getting way too complicated and i had to keep it at a novel state to be able to hand in on time. Well, maybe i can do it as a project during this holiday then...zz

Went to the Phokki open ceremony a few days ago... It was kinda quick and nothing much happened really. Apart from telling what i already know from the site...it was just a breeze through. Most of the people who attended were most probably invited internally. I didn't even see any young digital artist. The website itself was pretty good though, something to earn quick cash if you're good enough. Although the launch was kinda boring to me....but i got to see Artgerm!!! He gave a quick talk on what IFS is up to recently and all...Its really inspiring to see him talk about what he is involve at the moment and how he is trying to help educate the public on art as a career. IFS is currently involve in some concept work with square enix from japan according to him, what project he cannot say. LOL. Artgerm will also be gracing this month's ImagineFX with his Pepper!! Well, hope i can get it soon enough....check it out here

I applied for an internship awhile back for Play imaginative, and just when i thought i was rejected last week, i finally received a call from Play imaginative and was told to report for work on the 1st of May. Yaaayy....Kinda happy and worried at the moment...because i'm not really sure what is expected of me...zzz. Anyway, i'm sure i'll learn alot from this internship. Maybe i should also really make use of this holiday to build my portfolio on deviantart, and who knows, i might qualify for IFS one day!! Roar....

Recently, i've been reading this comic by DC called Crisis on Infinite Earth. A short intro from wiki...

Crisis on Infinite Earths is a 12-issue American comic book limited series (identified as a "12-part maxi-series") and crossover event, produced by DC Comics in 1985 to simplify their then-55-year-old continuity.[1] The series was written by Marv Wolfman, and illustrated by George Pérez (pencils/layouts), with Mike DeCarlo, Dick Giordano, and Jerry Ordway, (who shared inking/embellishing chores). The series eliminated the concept of the Multiverse in the fictional DC Universe, and depicted the deaths of such long-standing superheroes as Supergirl and the Barry Allen incarnation of the Flash.

It's a really interesting comic, but i was really attracted to this comic because of its cover...LOL. The cover art was done in collaboration by one of my favourite artist...ALEX ROSS!!! lol...can't get enough of his work man...

Recently i'm beginning to love Dissidia Final Fantasy more and more, the gaming interface is really superb and the character's move is all so impressive. Simply can't get enough of it, i can jus go bashing people up on my psp while i travel. I think Naruto is almost coming to an end...hope its a good ending...Bleach is still getting all hype up...

怨念神书

A couple of days ago, i was surfing ebay as usual and was randomly typing some name when i came across this auction.

The price of this book i would rather not talk about, it was a book that was published ard 10 years ago and is out of print now. Its published by S.M.H and is more well known now as Hobby Japan. Basically this book contains most of Takayuki Takeya's sculpture to date at that time. The book is considered a legend and sought after by alot of fans. I came to know about this book's existence while i was doing my FLUX Magazine school project when i was researching on him.

One would wonder who is this guy, well, for a start, he's the sculptor of most of the S.I.C series of toys and some of the Final Fantasy Playarts series. He is also involve in the character design of some final fantasy series. Famous for his version of Organic Mecha and dark sculpting technique, he is a master sculptor in his field. With brother's help, i managed to get hold of this book at a pretty costly but worthy price. Well, i'm a happy man~~ :)

It seems that recently i keep having things with Singapore Post office, that day was the collection of this book, and then the collection of the redemption letter, and today the singnet router and my brother's driving license...LOL... well, i decided to invest in a Lenovo S10, now i only hope to collect it asap. Exhibition is around the corner and i'm still slacking around...zz...while consulting Tito for advice on wallpaper that day, Joselyn called me over and told me about the IFS intern application result...sigh, i have to build up a portfolio on deviantart... guess i really have to work harder now...still not enough...

That day movie craze came over me and i went to rent Sekai no chuushin de ai wo sakebu (shouting out love at the center of the world) and Tetsujin 28. Well, shouting out love was a really good movie and they had a korean version of it, but i tot it was jus fairly ok compared to the original. Recently i have been on a movie rampage, but den again when was i not...Confession of a shopaholic was fairly ok and entertaining. I won't say its very good, or very bad....jus average. Well gotta sigh off now, and decide on wat to do next...zzz

Finally watched Detroit Metal City, L donning the cockster hairstyle is super funny... the movie was pretty entertaining with Kenichi Matsuyama showing off his superb acting skills. Well, he fully portrayed the character of Soichi...LOL...

2 weeks ago was bad...Missing Tito's class...sigh... my decision to go on a double side is...i guess...over toiling me...36 pages....18 pages per side...keh kiang...relly keh kiang...guess i shud work hard to finish it, so as not to disappoint him~~ sigh.... but well, last week i finally showed him the first completed half and i guess he was happy enough that even though we took so long, we produced a fairly acceptable work.

Watched Departure the other day, and it was very good...i would rate it a 6 out of 5 stars! But well, that would have to depend on whether one would appreciate this kind of show.... The main actor was really funny and Ryoko Hirosue is really adorable and pretty....woot.. The entire movie had its share of humour and touching scenes. Its a must catch i guess, GV rating it 4 half popcorn.

I've finally decided to post the images for my bloody rose customisation...below is the process of me customising it at different stages...the end result wasn't really....pretty...but for photographic purpose and photoshop manipulation...i guess its enuff...the wrong choices of material really made me regret as i was approaching the end of the customisation. Guess i shud have used plastic corrugated board instead....sigh....beta try next time... if~ i have the mood...was really glad the receiver din mind the bad craftmanship...

1:1 Colt 1911 Amt Hardballer Customization - Bloody Rose

When i decided to make this weapon, i din wan to create a weapon that look like toy in terms of shape and appearance. Most of the customisation i saw online were too squarish in form not resembling the original weapon at all. So i decided to use corrugated board due to the inner spine that can allow me to bend the cardboard and creating a more solid curve.

Layer of slightly different sized corrugated cardboard were cutted and stick together with double sided tape, i'm not really a fan of glue...too messy and i hv to wait for it to dry. The accuracy of the barrel has to be fairly taken note of so that the wrapping in the various parts would fit nicely. The staggered sides on top of the barrel and handle is meant to create a rounded profile when wrapped over.

Here you can see how the cardboard are stuck together, with and additional board strip below. From here you can see various holes made by the corrugated board's end, we'll be using epoxy putty or art card to seal them later.

The first under wrap. As you can see, the cardboard is now bended and due to the staggered portion of the barrel, it creates a perfect rounded profile underneath. Accuracy for the underwrap has to be taken note as well, cos it would have to fit with the other wraps later.

Wrap applied, now you can see the rounded profile beneath the barrel more clearly.

Top over wrap using the same method as before, creating the upper slide of the weapon.

As you can see now, we now have a very rounded and nice looking barrel. Its rather different from other cardboard customisation in a sense that the shape is more dynamic rather than squarish, losing the sophisticated and elegant appearance of the weapon.

Our third underwrap. You can see the additional profile beneath the long slide, stretching to the trigger portion. At this stage, you can see that the weapon's barrel is almost completed in terms of form. Here you can see the slot created by the wrap meant to fit the trigger later.

The thickness of the weapon is increasing now, fulfilling the actual thickness of the weapon. Of course the first basic layer has already taken the overall thickness into consideration.

This portion proves to be a pain in the ass to do. I had to stack various cardboard together to cut the trigger out. Here the profile of the trigger is changed to fit the appearance of the comic version of this weapon. First and last layer were cutted with onli the shape of the trigger guard,the 2nd and 3rd with the trigger and trigger guard. The trigger is den slotted in to the premade allowance on the weapon. The various wrap was being made to accomodate the slot. Point here is to cut bigger and den amend later rather den cut too small and den redo.

This portion, proves to rather expensive. Cos from here on, i had to use epoxy putty to seal the gaps and holes made by the nature of the corrugated cardboard. I also had to strengthen the flimsy trigger portion. At this image, the base of the handle is sealed with a artcard as well, the various gimmick above the handle, the firing pin on top are all made with artcard and then stick on with double sided tape.

Here you can see, the handle being sealed with epoxy putty and the firing pin as well.

Zoom out view, idea here is to create the detail profile of this part of the weapon.

the smooth curve profile beneath the long slide was created by smoothing out the putty.

After all the putty has dry and hardened, i sand them smooth and sprayed the weapon with silver paint. The words you see is created by tattoo paper and den printed on.

The weapon is considered done here, but due to the nature of the cardboard, there seems to be fur on the surface due to contact with the wet paint, the texture does not resemble the weapon as well, too rough and uneven. The trigger and handle is also in a very bad shape as i din sand them off enough.

Test shot of the weapon when its being carried by a person, i thought it proved enough for a cosplayer as the details wud be lost judging from the distance a photo would normally be taken, from here, you can't really see the flaw and the uneven surface of the barrel.

The other side of the weapon, proves to be an ugly side. LOL.

I decided to retouch up the weapon abit, with my brother's help, he resand the entire weapon. The firing pin, the trigger the top of the slide of the weapon and the ring for the chain below the handle.

You can see how crazily flat this portion is, yep, thanks to my brother's help. This portion of the trigger was perfected.

The firing pin portion, after being sanded by my brother. He destroyed the gimimcks above the handle though, but it was still alrite as i can fix them with putty later.

I den added a layer of transparency over the top slide and den respray it.

The other side of the weapon, here you can see that the long slide now looks more like metal now, having a more even and smooth matte surface.

The original weapon and image that was referenced for this weapon. Although i wasn't really happy with the final weapon, but i'm glad i touched up the weapon again. The entire customisation took me 3 days to complete, costing approximately 50 plus bucks, sponsored by Med. I had the help of my brother with the sanding of the surfaces.

Shingo...n bloody rose...

A few days ago... Med's third dog finally came... We decided to name it Shingo...although we wanted to name it Goku...because he looks like Sun wukong...LOL! But when we were tokin about him..Med said that his name sounds like mo gu....mushroom...so we decided to stick with Shingo...

The past few days was like non-stop homework megamix....Dnad took me 3-4 days to complete... and in the end...due to some computer error...i spent 4 hours doin something tt could have been done in 1 hour... It was really bad...due to the last minute-ness..of the shit... we were jus scrawling watever we have for submission.... After Dnad, it was felix's shit...i spend a whole nite tryin to finalise my story for Felix...i got so out of idea that i lied on my bed facing south...because Med's mum say i mus do homework facing south this year...some fortune teller... well...believe it or not...at least i got it sorted out... achieving at least a certain level of wu xia detective feel to it...sigh... In the end...Felix onli went thru half the class.... i think those who cheong the nite before and came...mus be sibay sian when he say continue next week...

On tuesday... we went to collect Shingo...it was raining...and the little mini puppy...lol...reminds me so much of Gary boy...LOL! Aniwae, he's pretty adorable, running ard with his undersized feets... Well, by the time i was home...i was totally in no mood to do Tito's work animore...i cud hv finish it in one nite...but i jus din wan to....too shag...too lazy to move... And aniwae..i decided to change my format of story...

I saw Tito's comment on Gary's work, for that level of detail and amount of completion...Tito's comment is really not worth it...i guess i wud hv beta chance if i jus doodle something and make some shading to it.... i guess story is really not the issue here....zzz

I went on a book shopping spree...lol...Bought apple vol 1 n 2...a illustration book...some comics...and The dangerous alphabet by Neil Gaiman...its a children story book actually...but i love the drawing so much tt i decided to buy it...Maybe i shud post an image if i hv the chance... After tt, i was super busy with making a weapon for a fren of Med's.

Its a gun from Vampire Knight. Bloody rose that belongs to Zero Kiryu, on the previous cosplay photoshoot...i tot it was a pity tt the cosplayer din have the weapon...so i tot maybe i can try making one...all's well so far...and i hope i can complete it by tomoro...so tt Med can pass it to her fren.... The weapon is actually a Colt 1911 Amt Hardballer Long slide... i wanted to buy a similar one to customise...but guess its too hard....so i had to basically build it from scratch...with corrugated board....i'll post an image of it once i complete the painting process....right now i'm jus waiting for the cement to dry...lol

独孤九剑和玄铁重剑的年代(super long shit...but its funnie...)

The following article was taken from some website while i was researching for Felix's project. I thought it was very funny the way he analysed it. I guess ur chinese needs to be of certain standard to understand it...u need to be pretty familiar with Jinyong's novel as well...it basically compares the swordsplay of 杨过 and 令狐冲... which is supposingly created by the same person...独孤求败....maybe i'll post a translated version if i got time...lol...

玄铁剑法和独孤九剑都是独孤求败创造的。两种剑法有相同点也有不同点，玄铁剑法招数简单，讲究的是：重剑无锋，大巧不工。而独孤九剑理论性比较强，比较全面。到底哪种剑法更强，或者说：哪种剑法境界更高？

　　神雕时代是飞机加大炮的时代，而笑傲江湖是小米加步枪的时代，主角对剑法的领悟取决于时代的要求。也就是说，即便是同一种剑法，到了杨过那里成了玄铁剑法，到了令狐冲那里成了独孤九剑。

　　为什么这样说呢？当杨过来到独孤求败的山洞里。看到有三把剑，一是削铁如泥的利剑，二是玄铁重剑，三是木剑。最终（金庸安排）杨过选择了玄铁重剑。为什么不选择利剑呢？-----时代要求，或者说是形势的要求。神雕时代是内力强盛的时代，什么龙象般若功啊，降龙十八掌啊，动不动就天崩地裂，杨过内力不足，必需要借助于玄铁剑的重量来弥补（首先不能在气势上输给敌人）。那个时代的人，喜欢大气、纯朴的武功，而不愿意（或不屑于）依*复杂的技巧，如洪七公虽然会打狗帮法，但很少使用，一是怕用多了被人破解，但更主要的是，他觉得打狗帮法太小气、太花俏，打起来不如降龙十八掌那样爽快、干脆。到了天龙八部的乔锋干脆就不学。同样是以弱胜强，空明拳的口诀只有“空朦洞松、风通容梦、冲穷中弄、童庸弓虫”，而倚天屠龙记的太极拳却是一个庞大的理论体系。金庸武学不同于科学技术，科学的进步是以理论的完整度作为标志的，而武学理论的复杂标志着内力的衰弱。比如我用50斤力道能打死你，我绝不会用100斤，复杂的技巧是为了节省内力。在射雕中有一段话阐述了这一观点，

　　他呆呆的想了良久，只听得箫声越拔越高，只须再高得少些，欧阳锋便非败不可，但至此为极，说甚么也高不上去了，终于大悟，不禁哑然失笑：“我真是蠢得到了家！人力有时而穷，心中所想的事，十九不能做到。我知道一拳打出，如有万斤之力，敌人必然粉身碎骨，可是我拳上又如何能有万斤的力道？七师父常说：‘看人挑担不吃力，自己挑担压断脊。’挑担尚且如此，何况是这般高深的武功。”
　　
令狐冲的独孤九剑，有破剑式、破掌式、破鞭式等等之分，而玄铁剑法哪里分得那么清楚，不过是“挑”、“刺”等简单的几个动作。笑傲江湖是内力衰弱的时代，独孤九剑复杂的体系正应了这个时代的需求。个人认为，独孤九剑是独孤求败弱冠时的剑法，而玄铁剑法是他中年时期的剑法，因为中年内力相对比弱冠时要高，而内力高的人更趋向于直接、纯朴的武功。杨过能直接练重剑是因为内力基础较好，之前练过玉女心经，九阴真经，蛤蟆功等。

杨过初时的剑法还有独孤九剑的味道，但练着练着就开始变味了，在海潮中练剑，用剑朝海潮“拍”过去，最后结果，剑未削到人，气浪已将人震飞了。又用剑击树，将内力灌于木剑上，然后“啪”的一声硬生生将树木拍（砸）断。这样的武功，与其叫“玄铁剑法”，不如叫“玄铁棍法”。不是杨过不知道无招的境界，只是“习惯用大碗喝酒的人已经不习惯用小酒杯了”。内力强盛的时代的高手认为“无招”这种境界太过于小气，我能用千斤力量砸死你为什么还用百斤？反正内力我有的是。当年杨过大战裘千仞的时候，从木屋开始打，结果木屋震碎，然后跳到雪地里打，打得雪花飞溅，豪气冲天，杨过觉得这样才算真正的战斗。结果，他的剑法不再是“挑”，“刺”，而是“拍”，“砸”。跟他的掌法一样，打人时一浪一浪的“拍”过来，不求无招，只求过瘾。这样的剑法，已不再是玄铁剑法、独孤九剑，甚至不是剑法，如果有铜锤，他恨不得拿铜锤。不过他还是拿剑，一来看起来潇洒，二来杀伤力不会太大，像吴孟达说的那样：因为血滴子杀伤力太强，所以用香蕉代替。

　　金轮法王也是一样，当年杨过的玄铁剑法让他大开眼界，回去以后思索对策，想到到不是以弱胜强，而是以强对强，以暴制暴。不是他不懂，而是“咽不下这口气”，你强？我比你更强。结果花了十几年时间狂练“龙象般若功”，管你有招无招，用剑的还是用鞭的，我都用几百斤、上千斤力量砸过去……。结果两人相遇时（见原文）

　　“霎时剑轮相触，声如龙吟。两股巨力再度相抗，喀的一响，杨过的长剑断成数截，法王的双轮也自拿捏不住，脱手飞出，跌下高台，砸死了三名蒙古射手”

　　此种打法，即便欧阳锋复活，也会自叹不如，毕竟人家华山论剑的时候还讲点招数。到了神雕末期，当杨过看到觉远告诉张三丰“后发制人，先发制于人”的道理时，才突然感到“别有洞天”：哦，原来架还可以这样打。
　　
如果说杨过他们不懂得节约内力的话，到了《天龙八部》，这种情况更是变本加厉，天龙时代可以说是内力过剩时代，几十年，上百年的内力传来传去，毫不可惜。像虚竹这样的菜鸟，就是硬生生被灌成高手的。
　
　到了《笑傲江湖》，武风为之一变，由于没有这么多内力了，每一招一式都要斤斤计较，什么破剑式，破气式都出来了，目的是“用最少的内力达到最好的效果”。像令狐冲那样居然有武器不相碰的战斗方式，要是在神雕时代这样打，不被气浪震飞才怪。
　　
囚禁任我行的地牢，在西湖底下，可以说笑傲江湖的武学气氛是带有西湖文化风格的，和射雕神雕时代的大漠武风完全相反。再也没有沙尘飞扬的气势，更多的是风花雪月的战斗。西湖有西湖的风格，西湖的美感。最能代表西湖武风的是令狐冲在溪旁耍的那一剑：

“他跃起身来，拔出腰间长剑，对着溪畔一株绿柳的垂枝随手刺出，手腕略抖，嗤的一声轻响，长剑还鞘，这才左足落地，抬起头来，只见五片柳叶缓缓从中飘落。长剑二次出鞘，在空中转了个弧形，五片柳叶都收到了剑刃之上。他左手从剑刃上取过一片柳叶，说不出的又是欢喜，又是奇怪。”

　　这样的剑法，要是让杨过看见，肯定会不屑一顾（审美观不同），可在内力衰落时代，这样的剑法是最精妙的，也是最酷的，绝对比郭富成的那种瀑布造型要酷的多。此外还有东方不败那样的闺房高手（试和射雕神雕的沙场英雄相比较），梅庄的琴棋书画以及莫大的回风落雁剑也是西湖武学的重要象征。徐克的电影《东方不败》和张纪中的《笑傲江湖》都拍错了风格，因为没有意识到这一点。反而80年代的那些武侠片（如杀人手，梦中剑）更能反映西湖武学的意境。

　　笑傲时代的高手，喜欢追求无招的境界（如令狐冲），或超常的速度（如自宫一族），惟独任我行走错了路，任我行虽然会吸星大法，但那个时代的人内力普遍太低，吸也吸不了多少，再加上这种武功有bug，不能完全把吸到的内力为己所用。一个很明显的例子，任我行令狐冲三大高手围攻东方不败，居然在闺房里打，书上没有说房里的物品有没有损坏，估计不会损失多少。但如果换杨过他们来打，不把闺房震飞才怪。

　　至于令狐冲的内力有多强呢？虽然练了吸星大法，但我看这点内力最多让他拿稳剑而已。
　　独孤九剑与玄铁剑法，其实没有好坏之分，独孤九剑适合内力底的人用，玄铁剑法适合内力较高的人用。如果内力太旺盛，用木剑就够了。

It has been awhile since i blogged...recently i'm gettin too lazy to blog...i dun even have time to paint animore...sigh.... i guess i hv to squeeze sometime to do it... Yesterday was friggin tiring...i was rushin weiming's flash exercises and tutoring 2 other person while at it...LOL! Woke up pretty early in the morning to finish off the banner which i realised last minute-ly tt it has to be submitted....i was 2hours late...

Med and i were thinking of catching some movie...but weren't sure wat to watch...i suggested K-20 but she said it sounded stupid...so i tot we shud watch Benjamin Button...but she wasn't really into it as well...upon checkin the reviews....K-20 had 4 stars out of 5...boasting the same rating as Slumdog Millionaire...Benjamin and all the other craps had 3...so we decided to give it a shot...well... the first opening scene...i told Med...our $7.50 is well worth it for this opening scene alr...a render of an entire Japan...with an old school helicopter flying in to the city.....

I dun wanna spoil the show for people who haven watch it...but the plot and the visuals is really worth it...I guess the upcoming Galileo Suspect X wud be my next...being a Galileo fan....Masaharu is really gettin more and more shuai...wa kao...

Finally had my first airbrush lesson on Monday... it was damn fun....and i'm looking forward to my next lesson...can't wait to see my completed garage kit.... I chose a kit by my idol!! Takayuki Takeya!! The hakaider....woot~~

Was helping out Med's fren with a cosplay photoshoot on sunday...and it was pretty fun...because its the first time i'm doing it...Her fren plays Zero Kiryu from Vampire Knight...It was pretty last minute and i only did some research on the character background before heading for the shoot...well....the SD card is currently with her fren...and i hope Med will get it back soon...cos i really wanna see the outcomes of all the pictures...most of the pose and position were directed by me...and Med recomposed the image. I was really glad her fren trusted me on the direction of the shoot...Med gave alot of surprising angled shots as well. Overall...i think the images wud be pretty interesting.

25 Random Stuffs...

Saw Javier do it, so i thought i should do it as well...Wanted to do this for awhile alr~~ :P

1. I have been drawing since the age of kindergarten when my mum enrolled me for drawing classes. Due to being constrain at home and having no where to go, drawing was part of my life til i was secondary 4...

2. I do not really believe in long lasting friendships, but i do my best to keep my precious friends close, and my best friend is my younger brother, who would always be there when i need him to.

3. I love collecting stuffs like images, comics, movies, dramas, animes, games and books and not reading or watching or playing them.

4. I have a very short attention span, that's why i normally nv complete the games that i bought, unless it is really really interesting and i'm keened. I get tired of doing the same thing easily, but once i get fired up, i can't stop.

5. Coming to Lasalle changed my life personally and technically....i grew as a person and understood what i wanted even more.

6. I consider my self pretty lucky to always have people to guide me when i needed it most...my dad, my brother, Mr Wu, Lao ban niang, and all my other other frens...

7. The first comic i read was dragonball and i had my best friend pass me money to buy it for him cos its not selling at his place and i got to read all the latest episode head first.

8. My first set of comic was 神雕侠侣 by the singapore artist. I had to scrimp and save every week to buy the comic.

9. What i wish to do most now wud be to complete my Level 2 and Level 1 JLPT. Provided i still remember my stuffs... T_T

10. I used to want a Japanese wife. -.-

11. My way of life is doing what i love to do and not forcing myself for second, because otherwise, i would fail in that aspect as i wun put in my best effort to accomplish it.

12. Some people are born talented, and some are born hardworking, and some are born hardworking and talented...i'm none... i'm jus having fun here...

13. I really love Kamen Riders series, and i want all of their toys and have it displayed in glass shelve in my personal studio in the future.

14. I have 4 rack of comic books that stunned even my relatives when they last visited my house.

15. I used to be an Ayumi Hamasaki craze fan, i wud buy all of her singles, albums, photobooks and ani magazine that has her image(tt's provided i see them). My proudest collection wud be the complete set of 8inch singles.

16. My favourite part-time job would be Golden Village when i was working wif Jim n gang.

17. My best paid job wud be in DP Design which was recommended to me through Ricky.

18. I used to thought i wud become a professional musician when i was in the chinese orchestra. I played the flute cos i tot it was damn suai.

19. Whenever my PC breaks down, i wud get very frustrated and uneasy until i get it fixed myself...

20. I tend to do things rashly and regret later...especially when it comes to buying things.

21. I can't go shopping with Jimmy and go eating with my brother. I overbuy, and overeat...

22. The one person i respect most with my life wud be Dad.

This week is a crazy week... Monday, Tuesday were super shaggy~~boom... because of my slack shit-ness during the weekend... i had to catch up with Tito's work on Monday & Tuesday... Finally managed to finish my series of wallpaper and a lil' bit of the story for the graphic novel... the concept for my graphic novel is parallel storyline...that i'll leave for another time...when i post the novels. Slept for 3 hours per day to complete my stuffs...end result is undead....

Have been busy goin on a adding spree on facebook...lol...other den tt i was jus devouring some of the dramas that should have been long completed... Finished watching Galileo...and started watching Kurosagi....Galileo still rox more...the plot is much more convincing and not as shallow... Watched a 3 episode(tt's all it screened so far) of this year's Kamen Rider as well...Kamen rider Decade (Dikedo) It was pretty good...although the actor and actress...kinda zzz... Other den that, i was playing Left 4 Dead most of the time...I really love using Hunting Rifle (Sniper), but i think i would need to find a way to 1 man tank with this rifle, cos that day my team mate died and i had to 1 man tank. I died too, and the 2 player left. T___T The nick i loved to use is Ryuga.S, if anione realised, S means Sniper!!! Wahahaha....

Apparently, nowadays its a trend to combine stories from previous series...example~~ Kamen rider decade is actually about him having to defeat the 9 previous Kamen riders from the other world...Of cos we realised now he is the 10th rider from the Heisei period, and is an anniversary series. We get to see, Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, 555, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O and Kiva in action. Apparently, Decade possess the power to use the previous 9 riders ability and is supposingly the strongest. The rider's ability in the show is the same but the rider's character and name is different. I think that will be explained...in the later episodes. I was kinda pissed when i saw the new version of kuuga...he's like so noob.

This episode shows him using and changing into various different riders.

The other one would be, Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Combining all of the final fantasy series into one. I certainly had a lot of fun playing this game, all thanx to the china sub group for patching the chinese version of this game. If not i would have to wait til June to be able to play it. Thanx to Priscilia(Dennis's gf) i got to da bao some toys from hongkong, now is jus awaiting them to arrive tomoro!! Reason i got her to buy for me because its much cheaper there....if she got the conversion rate correct~~LOL!

Cloud and Hardy Daytona. Its the new playart version, wanted to get one of this, but its way too overpriced here. I hope she got the real stuff at a cheap price. LOL T__T

This was the old version, its made of resin and cost a whopping $250 back a couple of years ago. I almost wanted to get this, but well, i was glad i din go berserk, and i wasn't that rich as well. This statue is actually pretty big and heavy.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy Trading arts. This set of baby is currently sold out. And cost a bomb to ship in. Well, lucky me, i remembered that there's something of these and got her to help me buy them as well. I really love the new version of Warrior of Light in this series. He's so damn cool. For those who did not get the chinese version or can't read chinese.

Well, to end off before i go do my graphic novel tt is due on Monday~~ i've finally decided to go for the air-brushing lesson. LOL! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

2nd wave of Yusheng by Med's mum.

Phew~
its been a week since i'm back from my 4 days visit....it was a really busy week... in the end, i did make it for Tito's class...but i couldn't complete his wallpaper... and he din even wan to tok to the incomplete pieces...well... :/ who can i blame... Aniwae...las week was exciting... Rented car again, to celebrate Med's bday... altho it wasn't much of a celebrating... Everytime we rent car... i'll get super tired...cos we'll be like trying to make full use of the transport...whahaha... by friday morning...i was so tired tt i decided to skip Isabel's class and Felix make up class...(there's another major reason i din go as well...)

Its been years since i visited my relatives with my parents... well...it was a fruitful one... Somehow, this visit...made me see the supposingly familiar scenes and places in another way. Everyone has grown up, fighting in their career... moving on.. Places that used to be so familiar suddenly seems so nostalgic... like an old man looking at his life in the younger days...(LOL) That's wat i felt actually...God-mother was sick...apparently took the wrong medication and got hospitalised, worsening her alr serious illness. She was bed-ridden, lying there looking at us, and crying when we were leaving the hospital...it really broke our hearts. The last visit before we left for singapore... she was so sad...or lonely... looking at her weep, i had to do my best to hold back my tears. The once, so cheerful and always smiling lady who is delighted by our visits. Looking at all the reunion photo now lay dusty on fading frames... reminded me of how she was in her younger years. Growing old and losing the willpower to live...is really scary. The hospitals in Jiu hu is really, well... Imbaly gaolat...yep... the nurses gives a non caring attitude... hospital looks so rundown like it has been thru wars a million times... its pathetic...

Caught up with my cousins...not really...actually...i was kinda like a redeemer this time round... felt kinda isolated... or maybe it was me... but well... after pondering for awhile...maybe it was all along like tt... Always left out...unimportant and non-existent... it made me appreciated Med's mum and relatives more... Be forgiving...Mr Wu said...Be forgiving and move on....

Finally back in singapore...i got stuck in a 2 hour super jam...had to entertain myself on my laptop with Stephen Chow's Movie collection ripped from my cousin. Wow...he grew so plump tt he had tits...it made me so scared...tt i decided i'll be more hardworking on slimming down... Well i reached home at ard 11pm and started doing work at 2...by the time i realised..i'm out of time doing Tito's work. Shocking news is...its week 4..and its a new project. zzz. Although tired... we still carried out the plan of grabbing shasha (knife by the neck) and Gary for BBQ at pasir ris. (unpaid) It was kinda las min...so we kinda jus grab some food and started a fire at some remote location at pasir ris park. It was kinda fun, we had good laughs...and messing ard. It was my first time starting a fire all by myself... Well, i sharingan-ed the method from Mr Wu, the last time we were BBQ-ing prawns at farmway prawning. Well, it worked pretty well i think.... after sending Gary home and gettin lost sendin shasha home...it was damn late. I took the wrong exit and hor lan until dunno where...altho we finally made it.

The next day was rental by my brother, so i had to fetch him from camp and we went for breakfast...and den swimming... the swim kinda revitalised me... we went for lunch and went prawning at farmway. We tried to BBQ some prawns ourselves, with fire started by my pro brother....he say he v pro in starting fire. But apparently, i din know how to cook the prawns and i had a bad stomachache... i tot i accidentally ate some prawn hatchling or earth worms...yux... so i decided to skip class...

Saturday was gathering with Jim n gang. I arrived at 10 plus after shopping at Kino. I finally decided to get myself a 3 yrs Kino member....LOL. We met up at PP's hse this yr for Texas poker... Lost $60 plus at first...and then finally recovering and winning $8 in the end...a big phew for me.... I was kinda broke after the Kino encounter. Sunday was Med's Grandma visiting... i tot her aunts wud be there but only one aunt was there...so i missed the chance to wish her other aunts who gave me ang bao despite me not being ard, a happy new year. Guess i shud call them.

Well, my hand's rather tired after so much typing... we took some pictures at the Pasir ris BBQ, but shasha removed the images, guess i wud post them once i get it from her.... Time to work hard i guess...i'm so behind time.....

Well, i'm goin to be in Malaysia for 4 days...visitin my relatives and ah ma...sigh... i'm like so dead when i come bak...cos i'll onli be back on tuesday....evenin...and Wednesday is Tito's class...i've alr overslept this week's class...and its bad if i dun make it next week... And..bad news is...i'm onli halfway thru his work... zzz.. I guess i'll jus have to bring my stuff over and do it there.... *not goin is not really an option here...*

Finally setted up my ac to play Left 4 Dead online thru Garena...LOL! It was really exciting playing with 3 other real players... And i managed to get Wanzi to play with me jus now...LOL. Well, i guess this game can help me kill time when i'm bored...provided i hv time... think its time to let my Belkin Nostromo TE52 chong chu jiang hu alr...LOL! This gaming keypad was originally designed to play FPS games...so i think it would be quite shiok....

Everything is still laggin behind...My paintins...Tito's work... Felix's work... D&AD...Magazines to read... Library books to read... Play games.... zzz...so many things...so little time...sian man....

Recently, i have so many things tt i want to do...and i ended up...not doing anithin...zzz... LOL...its rather lame actually...i tried to do more research for school...and wanted to some digital painting myself and wanted to read a few books... in the end...i couldn't accomplish anithin and i wasted the weekend. Well, i guess i have to be more organised and prioritise stuffs first before i proceed. That wud save me from tryin to do everythin at the same time and end up not accomplishin anithin.

My lil cousin sister, wanted me to do a drawing for her...and i'll need to complete it before friday, so tt i can pass it to her when i go visit her this comin weekend for chinese new year. (She lives in malaysia.) Well...its my first unpaid commission job, so i wanna do it well..LOL! Meanwhile trying to how figure how to digitally airbrush my drawing..zzz... tt wud tk awhile i guess... Borrowed some books for self read... i would need to complete them before due...next month...My magazines is rotting on the shelves as i'm typing now... Tito's lesson is coming soon...and i have not done anithin...i'm so dead if i bring a blank CPJ to school on Wednesday...Arggghhh....

Today i wanted to do some homeworks...but ended up watchin Ponyo with Med...LOL. I gotta admit..its pretty good... Maybe i'll do a fan-art for it...if i have time...its in my list alr... After tt we went dining at Airport T3 again...LOL. Relaxing day i would say...too relaxes alr... now kinda kan jiong...sigh... Guess i'll have to spend some time catchin up...zzz

Was watching an episode of Gundam 00 and i must say its pretty good...LOL. Well, tt adds to my list of to-dos...zzz..i haven even finish watchin Kurosagi n Galileo...and smallville...and the list jus keeps addin up....Still considerin if i shud buy KEI's Gallery artbook~~ arggghhh....

I've always love drinking Choya Umeshu. Not sure if u guys know wad it is, but its one of the best liquor ever...to me. LOL. This 2 days, i've been eating at Shokudo Bugis and thanks to Med's treat, i got to eat Shokudo's Grilled Curry Chicken Omelette rice. Its superb, apart from the costly price... alrite...omelette aside, i den happen to see Choya Umeshu Soda on the menu, and the picture looks very delicious. So i went to research on Choya's drinking method...well..i was surprised...

Choya on the Rocks
Chill your favorite glass or mug and fill it to the brim with ice. Pour in UME-fruit liqueur and stir well. The UME-fruit liqueur acclimatizes to the ice bringing out the UME rich aroma. The ice and glass bring out the UME-fruit liqueur’s rich tone and delicious taste making this a simple yet luxurious way of enjoying it.

Today i finally completed my 2nd piece of drawing. LOL. Spending a total of 7plus hours over 2 days. I finally came up with the design of my own blogtitle. Well, its not really well done...but :/ i did my best and i'm still learning and tryin to get familiar with my tablet and the program.

Recently i fell in love with a new pair of shoe...but i doubt i'll have the extra cash to buy it. Its selling at an average of $250 USD and is a limited version AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH STRAP. I really love it alot, but i guess i'll have to endure and wait. sigh~~

Today i din really do much, Med n Gary wanted to jio me to pet farm, but i decided to stay at home to complete my painting for the title. Well, although most of the time, Ricky kept calling to ter me about the installation of his autocad, end up still cannot. Cos he is using the almighty and cool Window Vista. Personally i'm not really comfy with this new operating system. Simply because... my computer's spec is not good enuff to fully support its interface properly without sacrificing the performance system. The system's security is too crazily anal as well...so :/ i'm jus gonna stay with XP for awhile...lol.

Brother came to find me for dinner as he tio dua by his fren...lol..sibay funnie. So we went to Changi Airport T3 for our dinner...at Popeye. I decided to try the burger out...super wrong move. Nama. Shud hv jus stick with the chicken...sigh. After the disastrous dinner, we chilled out at TCC til it was time for las bus. Well, i guess tt's my normal and blissful Sunday. Haha... recently i'm kinda crazy over swimming...lolol.... I guess cos i have someone to go with me...my brother...so its more motivating to exercise myself.

Ongbak 2

Watched Ongbak 2 today with Med. Well, i got to say, the ending is kinda WTF. Yeap... whole movie direction was pretty expected, story's plot is not really interesting enuff to capture the crowd which was wat i expected when i watch his previous movies but well...this is too zzz, fight scenes is rather well choreographed but camera angle is kinda bad... making it not as exciting as it shud be. Maybe its the translation or maybe its the story itself. It makes this movie not exciting to watch at all, it reminds me of 300 when i see the younger ong bak fighting crocodile, and den the neverending soldiers fighting at the end reminds me of Ip man. Overall, this movie is only a jus pass. 5.5/10, that extra .5 is for the crazy and dangerous stunts.

To conclude, we dun really need to spend $9.50 to learn about a cursed karma. I felt that the director concentrated too much on fight scenes and neglected the development of the storyline, plot and sensibility of the story(might be translation prob). There's no climax as i'm constantly bombarded with fight scenes, slashing of throats and intestines.

Spent 2 hours tryin to sort out my emoticons today and realised tt MSN still mess it up when i restart my computer, someone should program a Emoticon manager or soemthing. I mean, emoticon is like the soul of msn. LOL. For the rest of my day, i spend it looking at blogs, fine-tuning my blog layout and doing some personal sketches. Currently working on my blog title image. Recently, i'm hooked on to the J-drama Galileo. Its superb, maybe i'll leave a review when i'm done with it. Woot woot. Signing out.

Kuuga n Garo.

Finally sort of completed wat i said i wanted to do before holiday. The sketch was done in 15mins, had to design the character for a couple of days... finally came up with this design. Kinda like it tho. Done it in painter and touched up a lil in photoshop. Its jus a practise piece, so not much details and background. Its meant to get me used to my tablet... done with custom-ed brush. Completed in 6-8 hours total over a few weeks, spent a lot of time trying to understand how the tools interact.

Hmmm...i see alot of ppl posting their resolution for 2009, so i guess i'll be a copy cat and do it as well.... LOL. Not really sure if its wad i think it is....
Well, my resolution wud be...

02 - Get Internship at IFS during June holidays. (Prays very hard)

Today was 2nd induction, briefing for our 2nd semester projects. Sounds kinda exciting, i think...hope i can maintain this mentality all the way til end of sem. Hidayah mentioned that we need to get 50 and above in order to consider level 3...i'm seriously sweating my bloody ass off. I've nv gotten above 50 before...ARGGHHHH...

Always wanted a pair of Nike air jordan 1, finally got myself a pair of this a few weeks ago at peninsula. $119 super duper sale. Saw Wanzi wear it today...lol... not sure if i shud tell her the bad news. LOL, she bought it at $140 i think. This is a Air Jordan 1 father's day special edition. Retail price is $169 i think. Super glad i got it so cheap. I used to own a pair of the original Air Jordan 1 (the red black one.) but i used it to play basketball and it got so worn out that i sold it for $50, kinda regret it ever since. Cos i bought it at $189 after reading Slam Dunk. LOL. Nowadays, to get this original pair, i think it would at least cost $250.

Final Fantasy Dissidia Japanese was out a week ago, and i tried to play it, but i spent most of my time trying to translate wat it is saying until i kinda give up. Guess i have to wait til mid 2009 to get the english one. China did some partial translation of it which is not really helpful... I was surprised that its actually a fighting game. LOL.

Recently i've been watching Galileo, acted my Masaharu Fukuyama. Short intro from wiki,

I din really make ani wish for the year.... so there was nothing to reflect upon...saw Ling's blog...and she mentioned some past wishes and goals she set for herself. Well, i did set some short targets for the holidays...but none of them were really fulfilled...guess i have to jus try harder.... I'm really a movie freak...so maybe i'll jus rate my best and worse movie for 08... yea i know, jus lemme complain once more... Butterfly lovers...the worse....yep....best wud be Ip man...i watched it 2 times...and i wun mind watchin it again...lol...

Well, school wud be starting officially on 8th of Jan thursday...and tt's the deadline for school fee as well... 6th of Jan would be a mass induction... can't really remember the time... but Med would be goin to school for her submission..so i guess i'll be returnin my fee on Monday. Had been playing with Assassin's Creed recently, i would say its superb.... in terms of graphics and gameplay... i guess Gary wud luv it if he can play it...its based on his favourite Hashashins. LOL. Entirely ficticious of course. Brother recommended me Left 4 Dead...a very hot first person shooter in the LAN shop nowadays. Basically a zombie shooting game, with team up of 4 frens... its really cool and exciting. I wun wanna elaborate more...cos i'm not really good at it... well, jus a recommendation that its a good try. :) My first movie for the year wud be Bedtime Stories, its really heartwarming and funnie, not sure if people wud appreciate it.

Although recently, have been down on some minor luck problems...but its still not bad enuff to hurt at the moment.... All in all, the year has been smooth and steady...I'm glad i have an understanding brother and father to help me tide over this year...and i'm glad i made it safe and sound thru the year as well. I hereby wish everyone a happy belated new year 2009!! :)

Prawns

For the past 3 days...i've been continuously gone prawning...or prawn fishing...LOL! Seems like its a trend...apart from being a lil costly...this activity is really addicting and fun, plus u dun have to wait as long to see results. Caught this hobby from Mr Wu...lol.. and have been prawning for a couple of days... and even got our own equipments for prawning...*to look more pro... After a few days of prawning, we have finally grasp most of the techniques and stuffs to take note of. At the cost of burning my pocket of course. And my brother being grilled at for going home only early in the morning.

After catching the prawns, we cooked it ourselves to consume. And yes, with my brother's cooking skills combined with Med's mum... its like a banquet...seems like nothing much...but the dishes is enough to let me eat for 2 days. They are really good. After waiting for so long, i finally acquired my new left hand at $569, got it at Funan Center. Superbly stylo and shiok...haven't had the chance to try it out yet...as i was busy prawning.

Had a special favour from brother the other day to make a pop-up card. Although the whole thing was taken from a template...but making it proves to be a killer...zzz...

Christmas ard the corner...

This few days is gonna be rather busy for me i guess... With christmas ard the corner... Went present hunting with brother today for the gift exchange later... After that we shopped ard and i bought a painter magazine at Kino. Rushed down to Raffles to meet Ricky for his man's talk...LOL. Its been awhile since we man's talk i think... it was kinda fun...and den Ling came... The chill out session was fun and hilarious...and expensive T___T LOL. Aniwae...it was good...its always fun to hang out wif this 2 ex narnia lords...LOL. As i was preparing to go home... Baykan called....LOL. Jitao tio summon... in the end...he suggested we go Bishan's prawn fishing....And well...jus reach home...today, we were more good at fishin the prawns...so it was more fun...but it had to rain..so it was kinda muddy.

I'm still waiting for my "left hand" to come...waiting for my dad to sponsor me...LOL. Will post a picture once i acquire my new weapon... :P

I'm not really a painting dude... and to be honest...i kinda hate painting, or coloring... i guess cos i'm very weak at colors. Most of the drawings i used to do were all black and white, pencils, pen or marker. Even with marker, my coloring is still pretty bad. :/ After spending near to 2 weeks of scouring for tutorials and books, i'm finally roughly on the right track...i think... :P Painter is a program that requires 80% personal skills and 20% porgram support.... meaning that alot of the finished work depends alot on the skills of the artist being able to do traditional art or not. Sigh...that is like killer for me...cos i'm only familiar with pencil shading, pen shading and inking etc...

After spending near to half a day trying to paint a potrait...i'm almost giving up...LOL! Worse part is, the image is pre-drawn...and i'm following a tutorial...Sigh...its really hard. Well, at least i can save on the washing of palettes and brushes. LOL! Well, hope this goes some where...
Having slacked for 2 weeks, and looking for materials "ocassionally"... its almost the end of my holidays. Hope i can at least accomplish something before this holiday ends.

Been playing Prince of Persia 08, its pretty fun, jus tt it has no link to the previous series of this game title. The gameplay is somewat similar, but combat wise is very idiot proof. The main objective of the game is more of a doing stunts and getting to difficult places with the ability of the character to acquire orbs rather than fightin monsters. In short, its like a super mario 3d complex...LOL! But its still fun and challenging to play if we embrace the new style of gameplay. i would rate it a 9/10. Woot~~ GTA4 for pc was a disappointment...cos i think my pc is unable to support the graphics and gameplay... Call of Duty 4 is really fun, simulating real-time warfare, playing it is like i'm in a real war time enviroment...

Apart from games, i guess i spent some time looking for some ebooks like 卫斯里 by 倪匡. A series of novel that i used to read during my poly times... its basically a series of sci-fi novel revolving around this dude called Wisely. I'm sure most of us would be familiar with this dude, having so many serialisation of this novel. Well, i still prefer reading it from the novel though...cos most of the serialisation is pretty crap... :P The novel had alot of really interesting scientific assumption that we can see in some of the sci-fi movie nowadays... I found alot of e-comics as well, most of them i wanted to buy long ago but could no longer get hold of...guess i would have to jus read them electronically.

I guess, i've been on a Movie rampage recently...watching up to 3 movies in a roll in a week...LOL! The day the earth stood still was good....nothing special...but good enuff for me...i really like the way they brought out the movie. The concept of a bio-space suit is really interesting as well, afterall most of the time, we think of the suit as fabrics or mechanical suits. As usual, Keanu Reeve is super suave and cool....woot...The whole show, kinda mocks humanity, showing human thinking that they're all powerful with their toys. But how it was all nothing in front of the more superior race.

After that i watched IP MAN, omg...its friggin good. Being a martial art craze dude... i've read about alot of different chinese martial art... especially those that are more uncommon...Being a fan of Bruce Lee, i've actually seen Ip Man's picture alot of times...jus that i din know it was him...LOL. Most of Bruce Lee's books that demonstrates certain moves have Ip Man in them. This show really showed alot of good moves and fight scene. No stupid bullet time...no gimmicks. At least to me, i was kept at the edge of my seat thru-out the show. And yes i would definitely watch it again....A side note, for some people who dunno who the japanese general is, he's the dude who starred in GTO with Takashi Sorimachi as one of his student. The last show, which i watched yesterday, Yes Man was really funny and heart warming as well.... nothing much can be say for this show, jus that you really have to watch it to laugh ur ass off.... LOL.

Weekend outing~~ (Super long post)

Recently haven been blogging much... For the past few days had been busy running around... Med rented a car, and i became an Ahmad, chauffeuring her around singapore to take pictures for her magazine. Not sure if they're gonna be of much use, but we did it aniwae and it was really fun. We got the car on Friday morning and returned it on Saturday night. The couple who rented the car to us were really friendly and nice. Maybe we would rent it again from them again.

It has been a couple of years since i drove a manual car, so i was kinda rusty at first and the car went dead a couple of times. LOL! But other than that, i still feel that manual is more fun to drive den an auto. There's more interaction with the machine. We ate breakfast at bedok interchange after getting the car, and went to Ubi to get Med's graphic card replaced. After that, we head over to punggol's supposingly haunted house to take some pictures. Surprisingly, its just behind punggol mrt. zzz... My impression was it was supposed to be hidden... i once saw a photographer's picture of this house. it was beautiful...but we couldn't really get nice views.... cos it was raining the nite before and the whole area is mud pool... We did a few shots and gave up... ended up playing with the camera...LOL! (We did the 世界那么大thingy...lolol...

After punggol, my whole white pants was covered in mud...i always wear that pants at the wrong occassion. Went back to get a changed of clothes since we're nearby. And headed down to Bugis to get some errands done. After that, we went to esplanade to take some photos. It has been awhile since i've been to esplanade, and i was kinda surprised to see alot of balls in the sea...and so i took pictures of them...LOL, i'm kinda becoming a swakoo.... The rest of the day, we met up with Gary and went to Pasir Ris park with the doggies for a walk... Meanwhile i went over to fetch brother for dinner but we ended up buying tim sum and watched little nonya at Med's place. We decided to grab supper at the airport and went over to terminal 3 to take a look. Since it was built, i never really went there before, so it was the first time there, its really crowded to my surprise...even when its 12 at night... We chilled at TCC and we slack ard til 4am in the morning fishing at prawn farm at pasir ris farmway 3 with Baykan and wife. Med's eye got kinda sore and we had to leave, guess she din have enuff sleep the night before.

Sunday was rather peaceful, originally intended to go to Sentosa with the doggies to let them swim but Med's eyes proved to be too sore to do so...Ended up having to wait for her to rest til noon and we met up with Gary to see puppies at the petfarm again. We had dinner at Din tai fung with Med treatin me and returned the car to the owner at airport terminal 1. After returning the car, we went to terminal 2 for tea to chill out and took bus home. During the trip home, we got really sian...cos havin to travel in bus and havin a car...is really v different...LOL. The 2 days proved to be too tiring for me...so i was like low batt for 2 days...

Today finally received my DMC toys..and Med's christmas present arrived as well. But i guess i'll leave it to Med to upload on her blog. :>

Recently, haven't been blogging much...i finally revert my layout back to a normal and more comfortable one. I have been busy doing some self research and some drawings... and kinda determined my goal for the moment... Was browsing thru deviantart the other day and i saw some works by this person called Artgerm. He created this character called Miss Pepper and have a book released based on artworks submitted thru deviantart. He's a singaporean and also have a design firm named Imaginary Friend's Studios. Their scope of works are generally what i've been wanting to do... The magazine by this company is called Imagine, but its too expensive, so i think i might not be getting it anytime soon. Apparently, Cuson's work has been featured in this magazine as a guest artist as well. Arggh...how i wish i can be in their book!! LOL. (Gary wud know wat i mean.)

After feeling lost for so long...i finally roughly see... wat my future might be like...if it works well...LOL. Not tt its easy. His works is extremely illustrated and attractive. I've been trying to pick up a new program called Painter and is currently tryin to work on it while i find my touch in drawing again. This skill of mine had become so rigid that, when i hold my pencil, i have no idea wat to draw.... or, maybe...too much to draw... Well, i finally came up wif my own avatar that i'll be using to practice the program on. The dude is kinda rip off...but i guess i'll improve and find my own on the way....if i get too fussy wif the details...i might end up shelving this self assigned project again.

The final sketch is completed a couple of days ago, and i'm really happy with the appearance....wif my trademark rider belt and scarf that i like from kamen rider. Hopefully i can achieve something before this holidays end....Currently studying the mecha style of Hiroyuki Takei who drew Shaman King, and rendering technique of Cuson and Artgerm. I'm very much of a armor mecha dude...Gary wud know, cos he named my work ... Metal Grey series...hope i can convert it into a distinct style of my own...LOL!

Watched Bolt with brother and sister the other day...of cos Med was wif me as well... The initial part was really exciting and the whole storyline was really touching and cool. Really love this animation very much. I hope i'll be posting my new avatar drawing anitime soon if the program learning works well... And, its not really as great as it sounds...its a really simple avatar....

Dead...Bye Fenrir....

Went to Ethan's (A pet lodging and farm) today... and we had a bad news... Fenrir was dead.... he died at the third vaccination... Fenrir was supposed to be Med's third dog...A husky-liked chihuahua... She was pretty upset... because she really liked the dog.... I guess we simply dun have the fate to rear it... Sigh. Fenrir should be aprroximately 2months half almost 3 months if he survived... I just felt maybe it was too young to take the third vaccine... According to Ethan's owner... there's this new 9 in 1 stronger vaccine....aniwae... bye fenrir...

Today din feel really energetic to do anithin...so i jus slack thru the day... Yesterday, Med, Med's Mum and i went to Blk 138 area's market to eat this sucky sesame chicken claypot... for dinner... Well, the meal wasn't really the point... There wasn't really much people eating there and most of the shop is closed, apparently there was this group of people sitting behind us. There was 3 guys and 2 girls...and from their bags and attire..i assumed they were from the nearby polytechnic... The shop is owned by an old couple.

As we were eating... from my corner of my eye, i saw the sesame chicken claypot's shop old lady approach that table and were asking one of the guy something, and after being rejected, she walked off. She came back in awhile with two empty cup of ice and coke. I figured she was asking if that dude wanted a drink... because most of the drink stalls were closed, you have to practically walk across half the market to get a drink. She approached the guy again and appear to be offering the drink... The guy rejected the drink rudely, and the mum jus went behind them and sat in front of their stall. The guy proceed to walk over to the table and started behaving rudely and teasing the old lady... as his group of friends started laughing at his teasing behaviour... Wat he did wasn't really funny actually, he was placing the 2 cup in front of the lady and some ice fell off...he took one ice on the table and place it back in the cup and pour the coke into the cup and started sipping thru the straw.

I din comment when i saw it, cos i was pretty pissed at his jitoot behaviour, but well i get piss easily...so i kept quiet...and apparently, Med's mum saw wat happen... And she was saying that dude's behaviour was uncall for... fooling his Mum in front of his fren... We figured the shop was owned by the dude's parent. Well, to this kind of f-king cb~i hope he get his karma soon....Aniwae, he friggin looks like a laogao...

Not really sure how old this anime is, but according to him it was very well received by people in Japan. Its a really vulgar anime...and badly drawn toons...but its really funny and lame. Finally, after 4 days of slogging at SITEX, i'm debt free... Cleared my 2month old phone bill... It was pretty fun working there, Looking at all sort of people coming to the exhibition... Well, my job was basically to blow up balloons and giving them away. I guess it was extra fun since i was working with my brother... at least i have someone to tok to... We were called the balloon team... and basically when we're deployed... everyone in the expo including the other booths exhibitor will be staring at us, because we're carrying like 20 balloons per hand...yep. Why do we do that? That's because the "balloon booth" is at the end of the expo hall. And we're supposed to be giving out at the entrance. So we'll be like carrying balloon and walking through everyone in the expo...zz... and everyone will be staring at us...zzz...

Throughout the 4 days... i din really see anione that i knew... saw ling and her boyfren... briefly saw Vinsion as well...but he was with a big bunch of frens and my hand is too full and i'm too far to call out to him... Well, tt's about all i saw... There was nothing much at the exhibition actually... i'm jus curious why is everyone flocking to the ehibition...LOL! Maybe cos i'm not interested in getting anithin....Maybe i should tok about my balloon team...basically, the balloon team has a group of 4 pair of guys. Me n my bro... Jiu huan da dao and HSM Crazy dude...we called him jiu huan da dao cos he had 3 ear ring on his ears... which look like those chinese saber with rings on it...and HSM crazy dude would jus be singing HSM songs randomly..LOL, apart from them there were 2 other Fat slack sgt...and 2 other anonymous dudes... Apparently the first 2 group knew each other and were all in army...and from the same camp...i got this job thru my brother thru his camp mate... We're basically paid $80 per day...and we basically do every other stuffs if we're needed...but basic job is to jus give balloons...

Thru-out this 4 days...the 2 sgt were really f-king slack and smokers...basically jus appearing randomly... well...brother was tellin me...its jus a part time job...so nobody really cares.... The balloon booth is actually jus an alley created by one of the booth..and we jus sit down there pumping... The first 2 days were pretty bad..having to pump by hand...cos the electronic pump has fused...and no one wanted to do the pumping and were only giving out the balloons randomly... We got chairs on the third day..and pump was up..so everyone basically jus flocking back, sittin there and pumping and no one really givin them out...LOL! My brother and i jus took the balloons to give out to pass time...and sometimes jus sit in the booth or walk around...

The 2 sgt weren't still that slack...the real slackers were this grp of dudes that were supposed to be in charge of banners and flyers....The only time i saw them were...morning...and when we're leaving...LOL! Superb snaking skills...Apparently at the last day...brother's fren was extremely pissed that they jus went off without helping out at keeping all the stuffs... Yesterday, i went to the NLB to get some books to do some personal research and studies...but ended up only gettin some books...Spent most of my time trying to find books...Well i got wat i wanted....Jus realised that recently NLB has a promotion til Jan 30th...we get to borrow 8-16 books per person...Woot woot...Med got me a keychain for my Christmas...and i really liked it... too broke alr..so we decided to jus go budgetly...haha... Its a sonic the hedgehog keychain...i really like it very much...cos i've always been a fan of sonic the hedgehog...

It was a rather bad day for Med yesterday...sigh...well, i'll leave Med to elaborate herself....zz. Aniwae, after some hard choices...i finally chose imaging comm... the recommended one...not like i have much of a choice... I dun demonstrate the ability to be able to do Advertising Comm she said...well...i gotta admit that my portfolio looks more like it was prepared for imaging comm...who can i blame...sigh...we'll have to see how it go after the next sem den....

Storm had to end someday...we went to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua jus now with our student pass...LOL! Have to make full use of the pass!!! Its really funnie and interesting to watch. Nothing much to elaborate... apart from being ripped off for the popcorns and hotdog. The popcorn set cost a whopping $9...and why? because of this cow dong kong....zzz...

Going to work over the next 4 days at expo for the IT fair...i'll be under Lenovo i think....got the job thru brother...and its jus wat i wanted...short and good....to pay off the debts on my butt...LOL! COME FIND ME!!! IF YOU GUYS ARE FREE!!! :P Gary was proposing KTV the other day...but i'm too broke this month to go...tot maybe shud ask him after this Sunday...which is a new month~~ and after this month...i'm debt free!!! After nua-ing for 3 days....finally decided to blog... well, almost everyone who went to the zoo trip on friday has uploaded photo...so i'm not gonna do the tedious job now...LOL! Din want to go initially, but Med told me that Acel was so sad that not many ppl were goin. So i decided, why not, i only had to wake up earlier. It was kinda fun actually, apart from the walking and draggin ard on foot by GARY!!!! ROAR!!! We really have to thank Elle for planning the routes for us so nicely, cos this is the first time i seen so many animals in a single trip. To be honest, i have never seen the lion when i go to the zoo...a few years ago...aniwae, thanx MISS ELLE!!!! :) As i was playing basketball the nite before, and i went to east coast Carl's Jr and walked back home and slept at 3am *i started walking home at 1am, so u guys can imagine how far i walked*, and after that zoo...So my leg was like breaking when i finally reached home. The attendance for the zoo wasn't really much, we tot more were coming and well, ppl backed out last minutes... *including me. zzz..*

I was so tired that i almost forgot tt Rick was coming back on Sat, i did a room cleaning and tidying before goin off to fetch Rick. Well, i was told 430, but the guys reached ard 530...zzz...i ended up chatting with Pokey who reached rather early as well. Its kinda funny if Rick came out before they reach. Imagine the person being fetched waiting for the people fetchin...LOL. Supposed to go IKEA to help Med get a chair after that, but we ended rather late, so we went home straight instead. The short gathering made me realised how fast time had passed.

I spent the last few days rotting at home, went to library to get some books and spent most of my time downloading old school comics. LOL! I discovered this cheena program that can get comics in a turbo manner...or hands free manner... ^-^ I finally got three-eyed one, astroboy half set and some other comics that i wanted long ago...jus tt the loadin time takes a million years...LOL. It took me 2 days just to archive and get everything down, imagine doin it without the program.

Saw this series of toys from Hongkong's Yahoo auction, and they're superb, but well, expensive at the same time. Sigh... guess i have to save up and wait for chance before i can get it....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAVIER!!!

Assessment is finally over... Din really slp much for 2 days.... yesterday i slept 2 hours and continue to do work all the way til morning today and went for print at fastprint and after that caught a movie with the class. I guess the movie was kinda like a bad idea....cos Med and I fell asleep in the theater.... right about 15mins into the show...LOL!

That's wat i was telling Med as well, she agreed. By the time i was doin my portfolio this morning, i was alr jus trying to dump everything into the portfolio.... and get it printed... When i got to fast print, i tot i messed up the assessment date...no one was there...LOL! But well, cos we were the last badge of class so, there was no one else submitting today alr... Not really happy with my portfolio this time round...sigh... Acel's portfolio is as usual.. a mouth opener...erm..i mean eye opener...and Javier's was really funny and interesting. So much~~~ effort. LOL. Supposed to choose wat we're interested in, and i selected Advertising as first and imaging as second... Let's hope its works~~~

We ate at Aston and watched Madagascar 2. I had seen Aston's a few time... At Blk 138 where i loved to eat the 24hrs Teochew Muay, there's one too...i tot it was some palia western food tryin to act cool. It was nice...and cheap as well. Movie was...zzz... and i literally meant zzz. LOL. After that Med and i headed to Kino to check out some prices for the comic i ordered from US. Sigh...really is keh kiang. Kino sells them too, $1 cheaper...$17.89 something. I saw my missing vol 4 for sale and i was damn tempted to buy it. Well, to update, the comic came 2 days ago... its in the correct language, but missing vol 4. After millions of emails...the dude finally replied, telling me they sent the items in 2 packages.. and i should receive in the next few days...i sure hope so.

Brother called me while i was scouring for comic at Kino, and as we were walking along orchard towards HMV, it rained. So we hanged ard Heeren's NYDC, on bro's tab. But it was still rainin to heavily after we chilled for like 3hours...so we took express bus home... and i practically chatted with brother standing throughout the 1hour trip...LOL! Once i reached home...K.O.

Anyway, happy birthday Javier once again,forgot to wish u jus now...LOL! but..but...I WROTE IN UR CARD LE!!! LOL!

Didn't sleep for a day... and had to head out to get stuffs printed... Met up with Gary to go print our stuffs. Med and i head out for breakfast before meeting Gary for Bugis. At Millie's shop...something horrible happened...my print came out all blur... actually its the text tt was greyed out...supposed to be white..its greyed to the point where u cant read...ask the girl there...apparently she doesn't know anithin...sigh~~ and i had alr sent 14 pieces printed... well...so i tot is paper surface and thickness problem...i used a thinner paper...and it came out the same.... Was kinda gan jiong alr...cos i dun wan to come out for nothin...

Luckily i brot my laptop with me... Switch on my laptop and realised tt my laptop is lackin the 2 font tt i used... well..lucky me... the special font was onli on my ad..and advertisement was doin fine...so i jus made changes to the articles... it was the kind of black i used.... i shudn't have used registered... i think its the printers problem as well...aniwae...i jus changed my black and reprinted a couple of the rest...and it was done...

Head out to Leadership and sent my cover and inner cover for print...waited for like a million years... i even fell asleep outside the shop..and Gary commented that i can go q for the Shen mu yu tong thingy...cos the way i slp got potential...zzzz.. i was too tired alr....wasn't even thinkin properly alr...when the thing came out...i still had to cut and stick myself... after draggin for like 2hours...it was done...got it binded and the person forgot to trim off my magazine's lower white portion... jitao blur when i saw the magazine... after some adjustment... it was finally completed.... woot... one down... 3 more to go... 99, chix ess ad and portfolio... I was really happy with the printed magazine...hope its good enuff...

After finish printing... Med n i head out to clarke quay to collect Wrath of Lich king... there was alot of ppl, and lucky us, we din really had to queue when we reached... Jim n YC were q-ing like mad accordin to them...the one crazy part is having to climb 6 sty to get the game and den come out again. The event was pretty bad, with the messy layout... and the system for registration down. This year's event seems rather insincere...well...the location in the first place is a bummer alr... aniwae... finally got it, although i'm not so keen to play, but i'm really interested to look at the new class, deathknight. But i guess i'll have to wait after assessment...or maybe if i finish my work early... <---dream on...

T_T Normally... after a burnout... i dun hv mood to work the next day...and its happening right now... i think its defaulted alr... that i normally onli do burnout on the last day of submission...so this no mood is because i'm supposed to have finished my assessment...but well..no... was sitting on my table and watever i drew jus doesn't seem right... my paper is going thin with my erasing....

Some irrelevant event, as we were goin to bugis today, some sick bastard was blasting away his songs. Malay song... and the singing is horrible... we were looking ard, wondering who it was... but he was nowhere to be seen...apparently the other passengers weren't very happy either... At the shop when Med and Gary left for leadership first...there was this crazy uncle who came in and started to make things difficult for the girl in the printing shop... the way he tot was friggin rude.. he was tokin like he was some friggin rich bastard... that reminds me of wat my sister was tokin about on her blog... auntie being kiasu and rude cos they think they're auntie... if you want to see aunties or uncles at their ugliest... board a bus at chinatown at 5-7pm... train is good as well... i have nothin against aunties or uncles...cos i'm gonna become one someday...but... to those specific group of aunties n uncles...F*CK U man.... ppl give way to u out of respect...dun abuse it.

Today...woke up late as usual...sigh...woke up at 11 and did my magazine until 4 plus and went to Bugis to meet a friend from Wow... He was supposed to help us buy Wrath of Lich King pre-order card... so had to meetup with him to get it alr, cos the collection is on friday... wanted to print my magazine today...but well, shit happens.... So i ended up going to artfriend to get copic for 99 things and went for dinner with this friend. Melody and i has never seen this fren before... so its kinda weird when we met up... but we were pretty close online...Haha...

It was fun...although it was a short meeting... We grab dinner and Med and i had to leave early, back to our school work... He was like what i imagined... nicey nicey face, funny, shy shy, matured and look boyish at the same time...LOL... Aniwae it was fun... While waiting for my pasta order... brother called.. finally... his exercise was over, and he's coming back this Saturday... should reach 4am in the morning...Woot... bet he has alot of stuffs to tell me and gossip about..can't wait to hear about it...LOL! Kinda miss his face.... Although the timing is abit zzz... but well... i can always do my work as i listen to him rant.....

Finally finished all my interviews articles in the magazine... but i'm gonna touch up and redo 2 of my article... Cos i tot its kinda boring... Was finally happy with my Akira Toriyama interview... it looked like shit previously... like i last min jus plonked everything onto the layout... Studying and copying down a couple of the layouts really did help i guess....*I HOPE! After 2 hrs of turbo nap and a power bath... its back to work... and my target is to finish the magazine today. It possible, teaser and ambient should be completed today as well...so i can have more time for my 99 things and complete my portfolio....

Woke up extremely late today... sigh...supposed to wake up at 11 but i end up waking up at 2....Guess tat's wat happens when you dun do work but watch Heroes Season 2 until 6am....LOL! Tot i shud give myself a short break... Due to long period of time not doing drawing, my finger was hurting very much...so i decided to stop 99 things at 42 at the moment... Spent half a day regathering images and doing some layout for my last 2 interviews... Well, it looks better now... although still lose Acel's~~ T___T Acel...you're my idol..LOL! Aniwae, i managed to cook up something decent for the layout, and i'm gonna rework on the previous interview's... To make it look better...and more like a magazine....

Last nite, the moment i stop doing drawin and wanted to start on Magazine...i jus stunned there....Dunno how to do and begin... I figured i jus cant do Graphic Design...Layouts, Typos.... all this is zzzz....really dun like all this much..... Ads or Imaging seems more fun... But imagin is like zzz...drawing and drawing...(<---i assumed..) Well, i'll be sticking to ads i guess...now problem is, i have to do my portfolio to show my interest in this field.... Yes...siao liao.... My works looks more like i'm interested in imaging.... sigh...hope i can pull this off....

I think alot of writer...when they write their books... they tend to adopt a pen name... The HK artist that i admired his work for adopted a rather cool name...Cuson... well, the english one is ok...but in chinese...咳神..lol..i have no idea if its a direct translation or wat...but if i were to have a pen-name...i guess i'll jus call myself... Kuuga...hurhurhur... 空我.. yea..i know..its a rip-off...its actually the name of a masked rider...but i love this series so much!! So until i think of something else, i guess i'll jus make do wif it. Its my toon's name in Wow too...Ryuga is cool too...龙牙...Finally got a copy of Spiderman Web of Shadow on PC, the gameplay and motion is cool, jus that there were lotsa glitches...had to upgrade it to version 1.1 to play...but due to some reason...i cant use the patch YET... >.< so i gotta wait for a while longer..to play it...sigh~~

Actually, this has been buggin me for quite awhile alr... its wat i prefer to call "illegal broadcasting"... Well, the term should more or less give u some insight on wat i'm toking about... Anyone of you been in a bus...or a train... and den you are jus feelin zzz and jus wan to have a quiet trip to your destination...when one of this PCB~ boards up and start blasting their 喇叭away... They are playing songs on speaker thru their phone or wadeva cool ass gadget they think they have.... F* u bitches... its not cool and its irritating.

Today, on my way to interchange, i thought i heard some friggin old school techno blasting away behind me...well, its not so bad today...but loud enuff to piss me off. I din even need to guess...as i expected...its a bunch kiao tor...ccb i think to myself... and no..its not racist... Sha and i are good fren, right shasha?! :) There is something extremely irritating when you do that...

first of all...the songs is always extremely old school...like when i was in 90s? Well, if i'd like to hear them...i can listen to them at home...and if YOU~~ wan to listen to them...listen it yourself... dun try to show off ur gadgets by acting rich if u cant even afford a bloody pasar malam cheapo pirated earphone.

Second...ur music is pixelated... yea...i think they call it distorted, but to me...its pixelated. How bad can that be, right? Its very bad...imagine your a3 magazine images coming out as boxes? :/ or photo of ur face becomes spongebob? Yea... its like using ur nail and scratch the blackboards... its freakin disastrous...

Thirdly...Why does it always have to be some cb kiao tor? or some act seh bengs? or a bunch of think they look beng idiotic underage kids? Well... this 3 type of ppl is those that i would take out Dante's Pandora box (its a morphing briefcase that would change into a bazooka, bowgun and a artillery platform) without hesitation and shoot them with no mercy...really...i remember tellin Med, if i have a Deathnote...i wud even write their name on it. Yea...

I feel that the government shud implement a law to fine these f* ass like maybe $5k for doing these broadcasting... its ok if u're in a park...or places like east coast...but public transport? I remember seeing this ad that reminds ppl not to do that on train...but only like once? Aniwae... yest as Med n me were late for HSM3, we were basically lost in the Bugis theater when we went in... The numbers on the seat is not lighted up...and there's no way i can know by tryin to look at the seat when the show is started....well..we ended up jus randomly finding a seat... how cool is that. Went to Simlim again to get a cd pouch... its like journey to the west.... i went to practically every floor, and i cant even see a normal, decent and black cd pouch... they have like winnie the pooh...mickey... metal case cover (fail...wad if it rust?) and some really badly designed cd pouch... Where is the brain of these ppl?? *roll eyes... I ended up gettin a better lookin plastic cd folder at 日本の家 opposite Sibay lor....ZZZZ!!!

To end my complain...as i went to Simei to get a hair cut...i walked by Long John Silver and Med n i saw a bunch of girls staring at the entrance of Long John in awe and amazement... Instinctively..i turned ard and look... there's this guy...13-16 of age... buying Long John and carrying a tray out to the outdoor seatings... Wat was catching the attention was... he had a grey Mini-schnauzer with him. It was waiting for him at the door... as he was queueing for food, and when he came out, it was waiting for instruction to follow, and den when it followed, the owner jus gave command for the dog to sit down...and it did nicely and obediently beside. Well i thought it was impressive...but wat pissed me off was...the kid's expression... he was like showing off.... well...i was like...ur dog is as common as cockroaches... wat are u so proud of... if ruki or garou or gary boy or grim or leica is there... you can go pee on ur own face.... LOL! aniwae it jus piss me off to see his cocky LJB...

Today was a turbo day~ LOL! yea... i practically rushed thru doing everything from the moment i woke up. We were supposed to go Sim Lim in the morning to get Med a new Graphic card...hers jus got burnt or watever... but i overslept...and yea...Med overslept as well.... We had to rush down to Bugis... and grab a turbo lunch at Bugis foodcourt...we dropped by to check out the movie timing, and bot the ticket for HSM3 at 5pm...tt was ard 4pm...*turbo lunch is easy for me. Because i have nitro system...so i ate way faster... hence i was assigned with the task to head for Sim lim first... I went there and started combin for a new and cheap graphic card for her. Tt was ard 435... and i detoured to Sibay lor to do a turbo pray...with maximum sincerity.... :/

We got a g-card and went to asked about the warranty for her old one, and the man told us tt we jus had to bring the card to some place in Ubi with the receipt and we can get it fixed. We were practically running back... and we managed to miss only 10mins of the show i think...When we went in...we were jus in time for that lame scene...where Gabriella and Troy were singing in the middle of the match...LOL! Aniwae, the show was pretty touching... judging by the fact that my tolerance for touching is v low...LOL! But its pretty entertaining i would say... And i tot Gabriella was even sweeter in this movie.... :P

Aniwae, finally solved Med's computer problem...and it was alr like a day gone...zzz... well, i ended up taking extra 2 days off...so tomoro is gonna be really back to school work...if not i might end up dying....zzz

Sibay steam... when i thought the ebay 7 volume of kikaider comic deal is not goin to go thru~ the seller replied a new quotation. ZZZZZZZZZzzzz!!! Heng i haven buy anithin else yet... it costed $127! sibay high...aniwae, although its expensive, but i'm glad it went thru~ cos they're really rare comics... to me la~~ Its japanese comic buy translated into english, so its not really expensive, because most of the english translated comic is ard this price... $18+/- sgd... So.. :/

Gary got us to go to Upper Thomson road to look at some supplement for Grim, well, the shop was pretty decent, despite the bad reputation according to Gary. Well, nothing much happen on the trip and i had dinner wif Med's mum after meeting Gary. An old army fren called back and told me he has found a job... Well i'm really happy for him, so we agreed to meet after the assessment.... He's also a Devil May Cry fan...so obviously he's playin it as well...lolol...

I'm trying to master the Max-act skill for Nero, but its like so hard...cos u need perfect timing to achieve it. Nero, the main character of DMC4 has a sword named Red Queen, and it has a motorcycle like throttle as the handle of the sword. Throttling the sword brings u 3 level of charged power on the sword and attacking with it, gives you more damage and more combos. Problem is u have to revv it up manually and it takes time....but there's an option of instant revving up, by throttling at the right time after an attack with Red Queen. The timing is totally insane...cos i can only do it like 3-4 times for a couple of times....Watchin at youtube~ i saw those players doin it like eating rice....zzz....Well, i guess i wun have much time mastering it, with assessment around the corner.... The devil trigger in DMC is sooooo cool... its basically jus morphing into a devil wif more power.... DMC4 is really superb with the new fight system and all.... GO TRY IT!!! lolol....

Finally completed my bloody 2k essay~ yes... wrote my essay til 8am in the morning yesterday... and i finally completed it. Song. After that, i knocked out until 2pm and got dragged down to Expo, dog show by Med.... zzz... i was still sleeping~~ Aniwae...it was raining really heavily, but we made it there aniwae~~ met up with Gary and were touring the entire area... nothin much i would say... apart from a few rather big dogs and cute Chihuahua... Gary was talking to a not fren fren of his... Lolol.... They were toking for like so long... There was another couple which i find one of the fren familiar...think he's from my camp or something...well...when u go thru army...u realised everywhere u go...u see familiar faces....

As we were waiting for Med to buy cup corn...Gary was telling me something about Gary boi~~ i thought it was really funny~~LOL!

I'm still trying to finish my essay~ but things aren't that bad, because i know wat i'm writing alr... yea, i said that a couple of days ago...but last nite was the final~ the whole structure is confirmed~~ no no...its not that exaggerating, before that i onli had a vague idea on wat to write, and when i began writing... i realised i dunno where and how to start~ and bad news was, i need to follow my draft... to big a risk to deviate from my draft... "thnx" shanny for rushin us... sigh~ Struggled the whole nite, rethinkin my essay and trying to incorporate my original intention into the draft... its still not too bad i guess...

Recently, i've been reading Zetman again, its really a pretty cool comic... something like those Marvel deep plot story type of manga...aniwae, its a seinen manga..so~~ :/ I've been trying to locate this few manga but apparently they're too old to be found...i remember reading them when i was still in primary school... 三眼神童 The 3 eyed one... it was a comic by Tezuka Osamu as well... tot it was pretty cool...there's not much of info on this comic, but its basically about this bald dude who have 3 eyes and belongs to the last of his people. In normal situation, his eye is sealed by a cross shaped plaster...and when he removes them, he becomes a shrewd and highly intelligent and inventive person.

Yay, after struggling for 2 days, i finally have some direction as to how to write my 2k essay....phew...hope its not too late, still have a couple of books to digest...zzz... i doubt this essay will be a good one....not that i write good essays aniwae~~ Was stuck in the library the whole day, having to move around and looking for powerpoints to use my laptop...i ended up in the basement sitting pathetically at a corner because the indian security guard forbid us to enter the lvl 8 section with our national library books...i emphasize, national library books... He's jus friggin lazy to check...

After that i tried lvl 9, it was a nice auntie and she said its ok if its national library book... God she saved us man....(*i was wif Med) I wanted to borrow a book from the reference section and found out that its available for loan at Tampines library, so i got my sister to go get it for me... and the person there checked the system and told her its not for loan and only for reference. Knowing the kind of staff the library has, i told my sis to go look for the book herself at the section, and yes...its available for loan...cos i friggin checked the NLB catalogue alr... when my sis told me that its available, i told her to go to the counter and slam the bloody book on her face. WAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?! ARE YOU BLIND?! !@#@#$@T%% Aniwae, although we onli sat in the Lee Kong Chien Reference section for like 1 hours plus, i finally got inspiration as in how to write my final essay...i hope it goes well...

I finally got my hand on the psp version of Spiderman Web of Shadow, and to be honest, i'm friggin disappointed... its no where near the other platform's version, its jus a stupid 2d game... and i was still wondering why is the file size so small...damn it... I researched online and realised that its a different game from the other platforms. Aniwae, Spiderman series of games nv fail to disappoint, i remember buying Spiderman 2 for pc, thinking it was the same as the one on PS2... disastrous.... I felt cheated though, activision should have put some trailer of the psp gameplay on the official site, instead of jus the main platform's.... seems like they are tryin to cheat people into buying the psp version...

So, would anione still support original games if company's like these, produces a game, and tries to mislead people into buying them? Maybe before they starts pointing fingers saying that we're destroyin the rights of the creators... they should start thinking that, they have the responsibility to be honest as well....Well, back to my essay~~~

We ended up eating at Killiney again, i ate the same curry rice...and lime juice with plum...hoohoo~ its shiok... After that, Med suggested going to the pet farm...well...and there we go... setting off to pet farm to see the grey with white brow chi huahua... its selling at 1.5k~ and yes...i can see Gary and Med's enthusiasm to want to buy it...even though they haven seen the actual puppy... i was kinda influence by the atmosphere as well...LOL!

Still haven start digesting the books i borrowed for my essay~ zz...think i gotta do it after this post.... i'm not showin Andri anithin tmr...i've shown him last week alr... no point rushin for print... Haiz.. today was bad...woke up late when i planned to go the library. When i got there it was alr 4pm..zzz... Well, i jus had to make do with watever time i have... and when i switched on my laptop... I still need to setup my internet... a supposingly free wireless internet.... After messing ard for one hour..i finally got it up.... yes...so much for fast n ez access... After the net was up, i started looking for books, and i was searchin the entire lvl 8 for the topic that i want... carrying stack of books... but no.. it jus doesn't have the topic that i want.... Jus when the library is about to close... i realised the book is downstairs in the basement.... yes..basement... and within 15 mins, i found like 5-6 books on my required topic....damn zzz.... Aniwae i jus grab watever was available and borrowed them...

On my way home...i saw this china drama...on bruce lee... The legend of Bruce lee..a 50 episode biography according to wiki...Its starred by the goalkeeper of Shaolin soccer...and he friggin look like Bruce lee lor... Aniwae...there had been an extension of deadline for submission of essay...its this Sunday before midnight...only e-submission is necessary...god we love you isabel....

Yay...i'm finally back in singapore... was away to Malaysia for relative visitin for 2 days... and although i was rather unwilling to go at first...i was glad that i went in the end.... All my little cousins had really grown up...all of them in their secondary schools and all... when the last time i remember seeing them is, they were still little kids...made me feel so old... My godmother is terribly sick, and it is jus heartwrenching to see her like that... a person who is still moving ard...cookin for me and talkin to me...is now wheelchair bound...sigh~ Went to my auntie's old house, where i used to stay there alot....it really brought up a lot of childhood memories.... now tt i realised that, alot of my childhood memories were spent in malaysia.. cos my parents were raised there....so most of my relatives are over there...its really pocket hurtin durin new year when your ang baos get slashed a whopping 50% discount... T______T

Anyway, i had a fruitful trip as well... finally got a replacement for my windbreaker....at a pretty cheap price with a decent design from diadora...ya..i know the brand is abit zzz...but at the price of $30...there's nothin i can hiam animore...plus its onli meant to be used when i'm joggin...The one Med gave me, proved to be too fragile...its torn alr....at the armpits area...think i have booster armpits, when i run..my armpit will spit fire...LOL!

For some reason...this trip back was pretty emo for me...no idea why... and it set me thinking about alot of stuffs....sigh...back to singapore, back to my 2k word essay~~ banzai~~~

Devil May Cry 4~ Recently i've been playing this game~~

it rocks~~ huuhuuuu~~ i'm glad its on the PC platform as well....

Hmmm...After i watched the movie again, decided to play part 2

of this kinda old game~~~

Hmmm...the review say that this was a very good game...

so i decided to give it a try~~ hope its really fun....

Last night's toll was too much on me...woke up at 130 today by a stupidly lame n scary dream~

Stuck in a multistorey carpark, with some of my classmates and some other extra people, we were trying to escaped thru a bunch of crazy zombies..No matter where we go, we jus couldn't get to the ground floor, although we could see the outside world through some of the opening...We came to a dead end, and the zombies caught up, jus as we tot we were doomed, a group of familiar face appeared and saved us, why r they familiar i hv no idea...but they were jus familiar in the dream...

They fended off the zombies, and escorted us to safety, guiding us to the ground floor of the carpark, as we went further.. i saw us go past level 1 and into the basement through this scarily black n dark door..The saviour said that level one is all surrounded and infested by the zombies. Thru the door, shooting and screaming were heard...We came thru this door alot of time and din approach it because instinctively, i thought that it was dangerous.. but they jus told us to move on...as the other team of savior were protectin us...

something was wrong...my friend were behavin strangely... they seem to want to plant something onto me...i kept my eye on them, and jus as we approached this big open carpark space... i saw wat awaited us... One by one, the group that was escaping with me were all turned into the zombies... the group that saved us, were the real zombies... Those who haven become zombies by the time they reached the basement were eliminated one by one as they try to escape thru the buildings gate *i swear the gate look like those mrt ez link gate.

The outside world was in an orange color of a cityscape.. some of the people manage to escaped and were running thru the gate alr... I gather all my strength and dash thru the ezlink gate... and jus as i felt myself being caught up by the zombies...i told myself, this had to be a dream, and i woke up... Right before i woke up, a thought occur to me...so wad if u escaped, u're goin to die in the end someday... saw this image from a friend's blog who saw it on another girl's blog....

The dream somehow reminded me of this image lol.

Yea, tt's how lame...think i played too much DMC4 alr... lol..I remembered the other time i dreamt that i was chased by Moonkins (WOW characters) in my dreams. But, i always had the ability to wake up from nightmare, like when thing is goin wrong, i'll jus know tt it is too fake to be true and be able to wawke up~ But i guess, this is jus because i'm a light sleeper~~

Woke up feeling extremely tired, so i decided that i'll not do anithin today...I basically rot thru the day playing DMC4 again, and playing max payne 2... Wanted to redo the Yakuza family drawing and Gougou bang fanart, but felt too lazy to do so...Guess i'll jus allow myself to rot today... :P [REC] is finally out on theaters, do catch it, its a spanish zombie movie, not sure if anione will like it, but if u enjoyed Dawn of the Dead, you'll like it.

Finally back~ Not that i went aniwhere~ was busy with my magazine design for the past few days~ and last nite chiong all the way from 7pm to this morning~ I was like shag until i dun even know who i am. Went to Fastprint to get my stuffs printed and luckily, the result wasn't all that bad. The black did not show 2 shades of black... because i used jpeg in Indesign and used the default black color of the program to cover it up. But it worked aniwae~ so i was damn glad.

Well comments by Andri was, my layout is too boring~ and Yea~ i figured after i saw Acel's magazine. Her magazine is sooooo magazine, LOL! I mean, that's the best compliment anione can get ba. Mine is like~ zzz... Jus realised Andri gives everyone the same comments, he asked me to draw comic as well....oh well...his comments can onli be used as reference...its so gonna become an epic fail if you follow his advice closely. I really loved how my magazine turned out though, although it doesn't look like a magazine, but hey~ its the first time i worked so heavily on Indesign. I used to use Illustrator....

Upon the submission of the magazine, we went for breakfast at macdonald...and we jus tok crap until time was up. God was i tired... but it was funny listenin to Gary tok about his Sing-along-song experience as he do his work..LOL. After we received our "comments" *LOL... We went to bugis junction, Yes...lunch...i've been like eatin and eatin since yesterday~~ and because of the magazine...i had to postpone my joggin routine....but i'll be resuming right back tomoro! It was funny at lunch with the guys~~ Vincent, Wenfu, Elle, Gary, Med and i were jus tokin abt random stuffs... and it was so funny~~ commenting about KTV experiences and tokin abt songs...and Gary's favourite...biao high notes...LOL! Cannot help smiling to myself when i imagine his biao high notes and cannot hit the note's expression....

Once i reach home..i basically knocked out...until...now...think i'm gonna grab a double cheeseburger..HAAH!! Hungry~~ Ling's bf is finally back in singapore...and not much of a detail update from her~ but i can tell from her latest update that she is happy..haha....Saw a post from Javier's blog about this TV program.... I remember watchin the commercial once... and it was rather shockin~ but~ here's wat i thought... *i nv watch the show before...wat i'm sayin is personal opinion.

Well, i thought its ok if you're poor...sometimes, shit happens and there's nothin u can do...Well, some people jus dun do anithin and keep complainin...and not believin in making a change....I know how hard it is, to take a risk and all...but that aside... My point is, does being poor means that you can have a house that looks like shit, and is totally dirty and all? With cockroaches and god knows what.... If you're poor, at least dun make urself look even poorer and your house like a garbage dump... Not havin money to do renovations doesn't give you an excuse for a messy house... It starts from all the little things, being tidy, neat and clean... *shrug~ i guess i'm jus a person who is obsessed with cleaniness... Poverty and Messy house jus doesn't tie in together... *Because most of the scenes the TV program shows are basically house of those poor people in extremely chaotic and messy state.

Recently, i have been catching movies alot... not sure if u peeps seen this commercial by Mindee Ong, its on Anti piracy~ It goes with her asking What are we really burning? And she gives a short speech and ask again...and then shows a poster being burned~ As the commercial ends, she ask What are we really burning? I remembered jokingly telling Med, we would be burning our pockets if we support the original~~LOL!

I guess for people in the movie line, it is really damaging for them if the public supports downloading of movies online~ That's something i feel, impossible to prevent... I guess, if the movie is really that well made, people wud really go buy it and collect them. I realised, chinese movies here are sometimes not worth watching~ why so? imagine paying $10 on a weekend to catch this chinese movie~ and less den 2 weeks, u see it on vcd @ $6.90? Tt's still not so bad if its a good movie, cos with the surround and big screen and all, its still worth watching at the theater~ wad if its bad? I guess, with internet being like oxygen to us, all this downloading stuffs is hurting the market~~ I still like tt comment, i would be burning my pocket if i support the original~~LOL! I normally watch the movie onli after researching on wiki n watching reviews nowadays~~zz

As usual, while doing research for magazine~ i decided to change 2 of my article into 2 interviews that is more animation related...i guess doing too much of my work is too boring as well...Was researching dragonball, and i found out that the movie version is gonna be released next year april 3rd...starred by Chow Yuan Fatt as the Tortoise uncle~ and the movie was actually co-directed by Stephen Chow as well...yea...shockin~~ When i heard friends toking about it last year, i thought it was kinda lame~~ but i guess we'll see... I also found out that Astroboy will be having a 3d animation movie as well... but it'll be in the late 2009 and its a western production~~ i sure hope its good~~~ :)

A device which records and analysis enemies' attacks and weapons. The result: V3 learns from his battles and does not lose to a repeated attack/weapon.

Cellular Strength Device
It causes the fusing of metal blades which come into contact with V3's body; best utilized through the crossing of hands, in order to block and damage metal weapons.

Red Bone Power
It concentrates all of V3's energy into the center vertical thorax, or "Red Bone", and then expel all the energy at once.

Scramble Hopper
Special Attachment to the standard V3 Hopper, which creates a sound vibration which disturbs the physical nature of mutants and legionnaires; also can create a limited personal barrier to protect humans from mutant attacks.

V3 Return Kick
Kamen Rider V3's signature move. It allows a repeat kick, via springing off the monster, to the exact point of first contact.

Hmmm.. nothing much to blog today, so i tot maybe can introduce you guys to the Kamen rider this year~ LOL! Kiva... a vampire typed rider....i jus ripped the sypnosis from wiki~ lazy to type and i hvn finish watchin it~ *Although i'm a Kamen rider fan, but i hvn really finish all the series although i alr bought the dvds~~yes i'm tt lazy....

Twenty-two years after the disappearance of his father, Wataru Kurenai lives in an infamous "haunted house" where he is destined as Kamen rider Kiva to fight life-draining monsters called Fangires, the very race his father fought years ago before his disappearance. Today was the celebration of Gary boi's n Ruki's bday! So Wenfu, Acel, Melody and i gathered at Gary's house after we brought Garou n Leica for vaccination. Garou was so freaked out...n was whimpering away...unlike Leica, jus squeaking once and everything was back to normal. Leica is gettin to be quite a naughty and aggressive jack russell, LOL! He had such sharp teeth, think Wenfu's hand might get munch off when Leica goes 1 yr old.

We had Gary to go all the way to buy the food and prepare it for the 5 dogs, all we had to do was jus forked out money! Could see that the dogs loved the foods he prepared, except for Ruki refusing to eat fish. zz... We chatted at dinner, and Acel n me had to practically keep pushing the guys for dinner...cos we were soooo hungry...*i din hv lunch.* We talk crapped at dinner, and made a super big detour...LOL! No thanx to me~~ Aniwae, it was really fun today...

After we reached home from Wenfu's drop off, Med n i decided to watch Max Payne. It proved to be a right move after all, the show rocks. Not sure how many people in the theater played the game, but it was all nostalgic... the setting, the background, the storytelling method...and not to forget the bullet times...Yes, the director knew we loved shotgun~~ The shotgun scenes were superb...with the right amonunt of usage for bullet time scenes. I played the game many years ago, so i kinda forgot the storyline, but to my surprise, the movie actually followed closely to the game storyline. It rox aniwae~~

On our way home, we saw an extremely disturbing scene, a cat was run down by a car...it was like zzz... but i din dare approach it, cos i guess i might faint on the spot instead if i see some of the kway zhap stuffs u eat... We really want to help, but really din know wat we cud do...so we end up walkin home instead..this is so zzz....

When death grips u by ur arm, wud u be able to say that u hv accomplish wat u wanted and can leave in peace and without regret?

I have to admit that my tolerance for bad movie is quite high.... But this movie is really way beyond my tolerance level~ 武侠梁祝，Yes, its really bad. The fighting scene failed to impress me, wat do u expect from me when i see the word 武侠? So i thought to myself, since i cant see the 武侠, maybe i'll jus settle for the 梁祝 part den...but nope~ its not there either.... The love story part failed to touch me either...its a fairly boring show. My emotion was jus mono thru-out the show... even at the supposingly heart-tearing scene of male lead n female lead's separation. Its really bad in terms of direction and all...yea some ppl might jus say its supposed to be those arty farty show...but nope its not there either...

Ok, i'll jus be fair, if i really need to compliment this show, maybe it'll be a 5 plus min scene, it was funny, the whole theater burst into laughter, and tat's it. If i'm to rate the show out of 5, i wud rate it 2 points, 1 for the poor Hu ge (The supposingly handsome badass) and the spear man. (i was really happy when he got killed, cos he really pissed me off, and he din really tok, his body language jus pissed me off. Thought he did a good job at that.) Other than that, it jus plainly sux. There goes my 8.50, i shud hv jus watched Max payne. This will be my last chinese movie ever...unless there's a discount... * i might not even watch it for a discount...pui.

Lol, Gary is gonna love this... All along Gary is not really a male supporter~~ so~ as i was doing research materials for my magazine~ i found this very cool fanart. Its an image of 9 Masked riders...but, the special thing about this image is, all of the riders are female version of the original...it was pretty well done. I tried to find the original for a few hours but to no avail~ well, guess i gotta make do with tat. I've decided that maybe i'll do my own version of the female riders based on the original for my magazine cover... :) Aniwae i posted the female rider image is enlarge-able.

Aniwae~my magazine will be animation based~ and this first issue will be on something all japanese animator will know, and more or less influenced~ The masked riders~ from the showa era~ :)

Vectored a couple of magazine scans...and i liked the v3 one very much and i changed it into my image for my blog title. I decided to run again today, cos i can foresee myself gettin hungry at 1am, and i did....Bought cup noodle..and the noodle jus sucks...bought another double cheese burger...and there goes my joggin for today...all down the drain...jitoot...

As i was bathing after my excruciating painful run~~ i suddenly have the urge to cut a mohawk~~ short mohawk...LOL! weather is really hot...and my hair is a nuisance when i'm joggin~ Was reading thru the interviews and some forum post on Takayuki Takeya, someone posted an image of his house cum studio~ and they commented that so wat if he's a master sculptor...he doesn't even have money to get a decent house and clothing... Although it was a very long post...i was kinda pissed...

Do u need to wear a tuxedo to sculpt? Do u need a elaborate flower vase mansion to work in? His house was his studio...it was his shrine...When i saw the picture before the post, i was so envious... Everything he needed, his tools, reference was there...its SO COOL!! How many person can and is willing to change their house like tt? And to those noobs in the forum, he din work for money... of cos money for a living..but he work mainly for his passion...so to him, everything is to the extent of sufficient..no elaborate-ness and lame n useless decorations~

When i tot of the term "shrine"~ i suddenly remembered Gary's posting abt when he starts workin n gettin an apartment to keep his pets, and incomin pets... I thought his room had the feeling of Takayuki Takeya's room~ His room, was totally dedicated to his pets...at least half of them....Its really cool~

Its gettin real bad...jus cant seem to get into the momentum.. But i'm tryin very hard and i can feel it coming thru~ slowly... i was always a 慢热 designer or person if u dun allow me the title of designer....LOL! I'm slowly gettin into form...but normally, i spend like 2months to get into form, and we go for like 2 weeks break? and i go back to square one...zzz....

Was searching for interview article and i finally decided who i'm doin my interview article on...Takayuki Takeya 竹谷隆之. He's a master sculptor in japan and is very famous and sought after. You guys mus be wondering why the sudden interest in sculptors...LOL! He's the main sculptor and concept designer for S.I.C series of toys. Yes, my masked riders and the entire series of Garo. He is involved in the creation of final fantasy playarts, props design and some other conceptual monster works. I'm not much of a sculpture person myself, but with my experience of buying his series of toys~~ He is godlike~

Last year, for Star War's 30th anniversary, Japan's Yoshitoku Company apparently had him designed the conceptuals for Darth vader's mask. They were goin to make a Samurai Vader armor. The images were superb...*although there was only one image...LOL! But hey~ if i get to be involve in Star Wars...i'll so faint on the floor.

CCB!! Lost my original post...retyped version... JI TOOT BLOGSPOT~!!!!

Class today was terrible...i woke up wif like half a soul~~ left the other one slping at home~~ Went to weiming's class half an hour late..and the moment i reached~ Gary told me... 他讲没有做不用紧。。。i almost fly to Mars~ DEN WAD DID I STAYED UP SO LATE FOR?!?!?! Arrggghhh~~ serves me right for doin las minute work i guess..haiz.. Anyway i love my self promo poster..its so me~~ the tua pak tor with the V3 belt....

When i left for school today, i swore to myself that once lesson is over~ i'll head straight home n flip~ but i ended up in Farmway aniwae..Cos Med wanted to go... we had a rather funny conversation~~

Aniwae...tt's Med.... We activated Dog General Gary to go with us as well, I cleared my lunch at White Sand Mall before heading out as well...Wantin to bomb in the midst of the 500million mile journey is crazy~~~

We went to all the dog farms and i saw a lot of different and adorable dogs. There was one particular farm that was extremely toxicating...The smell is totally intolerable...Gary hanged ard there askin about his lost Cert of Garey Boy... Among all the farms, there was one particular farm there we went that left a very deep impression on me. It was the last stop we went...

As i went into the shop, i was shocked n sadded by the scene i saw. Imagine urself, walking into a corridor walkway, with two glass panel by ur sides. Within the panels, u see rows n rows of dogs in cages stackin up on each other. Each cage had a minimum of 2 maximum 4 per cages... They were all barkin desperately in the cage as it was dinner time. I was appalled as i walk thru the corridor...Are they kept 24hrs like tt? i asked Gary, apparently so~~ Maybe its because i hv a pet myself, tt i felt it was cruel to stuff them in a cage like tt...The dogs were facing each other... Gary warned us about the smell, but i tot it was ok compared to the previous... It was really sad to see that the dogs were treated like prisoners? At least Pet Lover's gives the pet a compartment per dog...

As i was visiting the farms, there was a scene tt disturbed me very much as well. An employee grabbin the dog by the neck after a groomin session and puttin it back into a cage...i was like...Wow~ i wud sure like to grab u like tt... This reminded me of something Wenfu told us today...i was totally disgusted and pissed at wad he told me happened to Leca...

Wenfu's brother whacked Leca on the head cos he poo-ed in front of the door of his brother's room. Leca's reaction was a whelp... When i heard tt, i was like JI TOOT!!!!! If its me, i wud hv screamed at the #@$%^&*. I mean, which person in the right mind wud whack an animal on the head... i sure hope Leca grow up n munch of Wenfu's brother's hand...sorry Wenfu... \o/ He finished the story making me hope Leca munch off his head instead. His brother forced Leca to jump off a table, making him fall off the table instead...When i heard tt, i was like !#@!$!@#UJAJDKAFJASDAS in my heart.. i meant...WTF is wrong wif u? Aniwae... i hope his head get munched off by my Recca A.K.A Ruki...I was rather surprised that Gary din really react when i told him that....

Was toking to YC jus now n i concluded that i hv to complete my 32pp by this week, if not i'm so toasted....Flipped til 10 jus now when i reached home...zz...signin off to do my 32pp now...

It was a freakin hot afternoon~ standing in the cab shelter, i felt like a bah kwa on a grill pad~ yea..i sure like this example, bah kwa~ Aniwae, tot it wud get beta if i took a cab~ f*ckin wrong~ Normally, u pay like $3-4 as u board the cab~ so that u can get comfort for a smooth ride home~ but no~ not for me...this little blackie old sch 90s cab~ was FREAKIN HOT!!! yea..if standin at the cab stand was microwavin~ i mus be in the furnace burnin myself~ The scene from House bunny manhole keep recurrin in my mind~ Yes, i wanted to ask him to switch the air con to a more powerful level~ but apparently, it was alr maxed-out~ ZZZzzz....

Along the way, i saw this bus.. a normal SBS with those advertisement on it...Problem was, the butt of the bus had a giant cockcroach image...Yes, the whole butt, was the cockroach..to detail...Its damn gross, when i jus had my lunch~ n feelin nauseatic from the furnace n rockin ride in the super comfy cab~ I suddenly thought, what could be the worse tt cud happen to a designer~LOL! yes, having to design an ad for an insecticide~ I wud die havin to look at cockroaches everyday~ I guess if it wasn't bad enuff~ wad if i was the photographer~~ *bleh~

The other day i was talkin to Gary about Singlish and he felt that Singlish is a disgrace to us Singaporean if i din remember wrongly. But i was telling him that i fail to agree. Cos if most of my fren know me, especially Ling~ LOL! Do note that wad i'm gonna say is my personal opinion, note that i started with i feel...zz

Singlish...some thoughts~~ thnx Gary~~
I feel that Singlish is a natuaral evolution of language in Singapore. Its merely the result of trying to have a multi-racial and national society. Human learn, adapt and improve... And singlish is simply a product of this society. I feel that we shouldn't try to abolish singlish or be ashame of using it jus because our government say its bad english. Sure enuff, if u use english as a ruler to measure it...of course its bad english, but hello~ its not suppose to be english! The point is, why are we trying to make some other people's language our own? If we're a standalone nation, why are we even using something like english to measure our own language that has evolved on its own? Which in the first place, was wat the government was tryin to do? To create a multinational n racial society, din they expect it?

Singlish is a common language where, all races, malay, tamil, chinese or the english speakin can converse and understand in Singapore. If you go oversea, you will feel more at home and ease when u converse wif a fella singlish user~ While playing world of warcraft, i felt super proud to converse in singlish, cos its something we have and we own. Yes it may be a mixture of all the other language in the world, but if we actually speak it, wud someone in the US who had never been here understand a single thing we say? Singlish is disgraceful because we thought it to be disgraceful.. if u feel proud of it as a language, wad people say wun matter... This language is still evolving, still changing and constantly havin new words and meaning adding to it and believe me, with the constant flux of China people flocking to singapore to work, there's still a long way for this language to evolve.

They have no idea, how much creativity needs to be involved to be able to use this language efficiently. We shud be proud of having a native language and use it at the correct situation, and not abusing it at a formal situation and spoiling the image of it. This language is no longer about the lah, the loh..the mah animore...its much more~Search at wiki and u'll get wad i mean. Havin some China imported into a Singapore team to play for us is glorious, but mixin some other language into our own is disgraceful. Anyway, i'm proud of it, if i'm to be proud of something tt is singapore, it would be singlish, not some silver medal from a pair of china twins representin singapore.

Recently, i had this fren of mine who complained to me that he got mad at some fren who told him he was too skinny. He got all offended n started ignoring this fren. He told me he feel that he is not skinny and he is proud of his body. *he was pretty skinny, fren was jus kinda worried, heard it frm this other fren. So i asked him, r u really proud of being urself? If u r, den why r u offended? cos wad matter most is wad u think, everyone, is entitled to their own opinions and i told him, to them, u're skinny, and they're jus statin a fact....n they're jus concern abt u. Is tt wrong?

I remember a singh with a turban confronted me at a bus no. 12 when i was pinchin a fren askin babu simi sek~, wrong move, apparently he heard it. He was askin, do u hv a problem wif my turban? <--if tt's how u spell it. I believe most of u played this game, LOL, i freaked out n apologised. After awhile, i tot to myself, if i felt proud as who i m, why wud i be offended by these minorities, who is simply ignorant n dunno the value of the "icon"(sorry i cant come up wif a beta term) on tt head? People over the world quarrel over the slightest thing, u insultin me, i insulting u, i'm so proud n i'm so superior... but, maybe u shud ask urself, who is defamin the thing u feel so proud of? By gettin all angry, u admit its stupid~~ Insult will have to work when u tk it as an insult...

There's no conclusion to this article, and i dun mean tt we shud go ard makin rude comments.. jus tt, sometimes maybe ppl shud think abt things before they comment, and people shud think thru before reactin rudely either, are u sure u got the msg of wad the person is tryin to convey? (Of cos, the babu simi sek, is my fault n maybe the concerned fren, put his concern across in a wrong tone.... zzz)

Lol... Was stoning in my room when i raised my head and saw my collection of Ayumi Hamasaki's stuff....on display thru my display cabinet... Yep. I used to be a very hardcore Ayu fan years ago, hmmm..how long was it, sec 4 to poly yr 3? I collected all of her albums, singles, 8 inch singles, re-issue singles, megamix, photo book and all tt crap~ I wud remember goin to different cd shops in singapore jus to hunt for the full set of 8 inch single. It was a really rare find... and i managed to get a set of it. It was pretty tolling on my pocket, judging from the fact that i wasn't working nor gettin lots of allowance...Most of my frens in poly wud know tt~~lolol..abt my Ayu craze~~

Looking at the cds and dvds, i was appalled at how crazy i wud go last time, anithin wif her picture on it? i wud buy it... But i guess we had our times~ If the rumour wasn't fake, she wasn't what she used to be animore...but i still do support her songs, if not her as a person~ The collection is pretty impressive...but maybe slightly insignificant if compared to my ex-poly classmate~~ LOL! Yc wud know who~ he's studyin in lasalle at the moment right now too, jus tt different level~~ He was absolutely crazy and we wud be comparing and tokin abt it~

Jus cant get into the mood of doing a design for the cover page...i really dun like my previous cover design and i need something to trigger me~~ Lol~ It din take tt long las year~~

Brother is leaving for australia tomoro for an army exercise~ and he jus told me the actual exercise is onli 3 days~ *ji toot~ wat happened to mine!!? LOL! hope he enjoy his trip though and get me some good stuffs!

Yep, its finally on theaters~ but i guess its not very well received in Singapore, judging from the amount of people who was watching the show at Tampines Mall jus now~ Oh well~ i guess u wud have to be a fan to really go watch the show.. I've to admit, the poster is not very eye catching~ with tt terrible font on the teaser poster~ yes..it suits the comic~ but not a teaser poster~~

Watching the movie was like re-reading the comic from episode 1 to 9? shortcutting all those extra non related stuffs~~ I enjoyed it aniwae, cos i thought Otcho n Kenji look pretty cool in the movie~~ But the most irritating part is from the couple beside us, complaining and complaining... God damn it~ get out of the theater if u dun bloody understand~~ Its an insult to the movie~ Yes i know, its rather boring if u read the comic alr~ but pls~~ try to appreciate the movie? Shouldn't u have half expected it to be like the comic if u're like watching... 20th Century boys? Hullo~~ the title is there~~ Ji toot biatch~~

Yep.. other than that, the show was entertaining~ i strongly suggest not watching it, if u're not a fan~ but~ u're gonna miss out a big show~~ its a trilogy~ n believe me when i say part 1 is boring~ its supposed to be tt way~ cos its the same with the comic as well~~

We went all the way to Vivo City Bukit Purmei today~~ yea...VERY far..for a tampinesian n a bedokian~ We took train to Harbourfront n Med foot the cab fare to the actual location~ to see the 3 chi hua hua~ *shame on u owner~ there's bus 123 to go to ur hse from Tiong bahru Plaza, he told us there was no bus~* It was pretty alrite i guess, at first look, i tot it was 3 undersized shih tsu~LOL! but well~~ They're pretty adorable, and small sized~ with quite a thick coat of fur at 7 weeks old? The color is mostly white wif black spots all over~ There was one especially cute one which had its whole face blackened~~ But we felt it was too overpriced, altho they're long coat~ We left the place taking, YES OWNER! bus 123 to tiong bahru plaza~

Still no progress wif my sch work~ still slackin as always~~

Today was a bad day~ very bad day...Woke up with a terribly tired body, think too much of a late night sleep... Best part is that, with the late nite slp, i din even accomplish much for my sch work~ yep... Although Andri din really f* me upside down for the laggin of work~ i know i'm laggin~ its pretty bad with last term's work still incomplete~ But i guess that's how i work~ And its time to start workin alr~

Sometimes i guess ppl jus take things for granted... That u're there and he's there or she's there~ I guess Andri wun really have much time to entertain my emails, so i gotta make it count and get the 11pg magazine settled asap~ Brother is leaving for oversea army exercise this Sunday, for a month, i guess life is gonna get boring for this month~~ Batman n Batpod by SIC is already available for pre-order, costing $120~ for that amount of detail work, i guess its worth it, aniwae~ figure and bike always cost ard that price~ but i guess i wun be ordering it due to the fact that i'm goin broke~~

Bathing after a run is always shiok~ super shiok~ Today i tried running the way i wanted to try awhile ago~ wearing a windbreaker~yea, microwave style~~ My brother has been doing it for awhile alr, and i thought why not... Was looking around for one windbreaker that do not have any netting inside, apparently its like searchin for a needle in a haystack~ The only one i saw was in black and grey by nike at 40% discount at Nike bird beside Lido. The color was too ah pek to me...and even at a whopping 40%, it still cost $59..yes...$59...

After lunch today, med n i went to Eastpoint to get items for salad, and we had fun choosing and decidin wat to get~ LOL! I always like shopping at a supermarket or ikea~ its fun when its for urself~ I dropped by Sportslink at eastpoint before headin to ntuc~ no such jacket, the only decent one cost $90~ by adidas~ Ji toot~ YOU NEED TO BE RICH TO SLIM DOWN?!!? I was lucky i din buy it, too exp, cos med suddenly found one mocha colored windbreaker with no netting in her closet, and coincidentally, its sized XL! yes..XL T_T... It was a free gift from some event~ aniwae, i'm damn grateful~ cos i'm onli using it to run~ not fashion walked in the park~ LOL! i'm jus glad its single colored~ n XL~

*i'm not tt fat, its jus tt i need an extra larger windbreaker to at least allow air flow thru the jacket as i run, if not, i'll be like grilling bah kwa~

Apparently, its quite shiok to run like that, cos the heat trapped in your body allows your body to feel warmer and able to run longer~ that's wat i felt at least~ but you sweat like u jus bathe and mom took your towel to mop floor~ LOL! I guess i'll be doing it every alternate days, thought i should let my body get used to it slowly~ Let's see how long i can go this time on my healthy routine~~ *provided u call it healthy not looking at my late nite sleep~~LMAO~*

It seems like a very short day today, i guess because it was fun and all~ Went to school late noon, decided to skip workshop today, which i had always felt it was kinda crappy~ My day started off with Fuwen's prank call, telling me that i'm supposed to come at 1130! Yea~ nice try Wen Fu... LOL! Went to school to help out with the studio shoots and we managed to get the rest of the 3 members to finish shooting before 2pm~ We were really fast...plus we had Sufan's help and we kinda had more experience this time round.

We went to Yakuza fight scene chicken rice stall to eat~ and sat there chattin til Jimmy joined us and we moved over to Tau Hway stall next door. It was really funny as we were tokin about how Melody and me were having trouble takin care of Garou~ Apparently, the first night, Fuwen got a pee combo from Leca~ LOL! right smack on the side of the pillow. Jimmy had phobia of Jack russell as his experience with one was, the dog chargin towards him when he entered a fren's house...Yes..according to him, CHARGING~LMAO~

I realised that Javier is pretty fun to tok to after gettin to know him~ maybe we should tok more often~~ :P... Weiming's class is a ~~~~~ yea.. turbo 5 mins class...and went meet up with brother to catch House Bunny. It was super entertainin with the female lead doing all sorts of stupid stuffs... I had to sponsor Gary $2 cos i think he got kinda broke~~ LOL! 2 dogs n 2 cats is no luffin matter... I might hv treated u if i was workin tho~~ :P

Brother had to run around to grab cakes and sides for a friend's birthday and we sat at Lido til 1030! Chatting about superheroes and horror movies to accompany my brother... At first i was still kinda worried cos everyone was like sitting there keeping quiet~~ but i guess it was ok once we started talking~~ aniwae~ thnx Gary for stayin~~hehe... I hope Gary does hold his Garey Boy bday party tho~~ guess it'll be fun wif Leca, Garou n Ruki~~ Looking forward to it~

I think some people feels that Masked Riders are kinda old school and lame like power rangers~ but thought i should let my reader have some basic knowledge before judging~~ There's actually a remake of the original first 3 riders so far, Kamen Rider The First and Kamen Rider The Next. First featured the appearance of rider 1 n 2, and Next featured the appearance of V3..

Points to note is that, the costume had been tremendously improved and looks way more cool now. With the filming technology available, it was used to the minimal to retain the feel of the old school style of masked rider~ I personally prefered the earlier series of riders basically, the first 13 up to Masked rider black RX or Baja Hitam, which some of us might have watched when we were young on TV3 malaysia.

The newer series is still appreciable, but may seem rather lame to some, with the abolishment of the signature scarf T_T, addition of many different forms, different gadget and weapons, it makes them look like power rangers without giant robots. Old school rider basically do not have more than 2 weapons~ and they normally onli have a maximum of 3 forms....They normally finishes mob with a rider kick or rider punch~ Not sure if its enough explanation~ but there's actually alot of effort involve in the making of the entire series if u do look at the conceptual artwork, not like some VR MAN~~eewwww....

I believe some of you might have seen the trailer and must be wondering what is it, lol... 20th Century Boys, the upcoming trilogy to be screened in singapore. I personally loved this series of comic very much, and i do support some of the artist's other works as well. Naoki Urasawa, also the creator of the famous manga "Monster". Most of his works revolves around conspiracy theory and its very cleverly and well-weaved in terms of storyline and expressing method. I got to know this artist's works through this comic "Pluto" which is his current ongoing manga. This manga is basically a tribute to the famous Osamu Tezuka, using most of his creation in his series for this story. If you dunno Osamu Tezuka, maybe Astro boy-Atom will ring a bell? Yes, he is the creator of this character, and he was featured in Pluto as well.

The comic 20th Century Boys was very well received by fans in Japan, and i'm hoping the movie realisation is gonna be a good one. For people interested, maybe you can go read up the comic, because i believe the comic is gonna be a hit again, soon in singapore jus like how it was with deathnote. The whole series of comic runs 162 chapters with extra 16 chapters in 21st century boys. 20th century boys runs 18 vol while 21st century boys runs 2 vol, basically they are the same series of comics jus that the last 2 vol 21st century boys is a conclusion to the whole series with a different name. stay tuned~ :)

We had a new member into the 狗狗帮 2 days ago, yes, the search is finally over...Leica the Jack Russell Terrier. After some wishy washy decisions, Acel n Fuwen finally decided to tk it back the night we went to visit it again. It was really adorable and fun loving. If only i had the money...LOL! After that Gary, Melody and me jus sat at the 24hrs Coffeeshop Gary recommended and chat til near to 3~~ it was really funny cos we were jus gossiping abt everything.... LOL. Nothing really happened yesterday as i jus spent my whole day, what's left of it, downloading comics...and reading them. Went joggin with brother to east coast and we lost each other as he was running too fast. I had to run back to east coast's jetty again cos i tot he was waiting for me there, and yea, he was not there, cos he went back to look for me as well, and we jus lost each other. We finally met up at a petrol kiosk nearby and he had gone home to fetch money...thank god, cos i was dying of thirst. I've decided that maybe i'll prepare my own lunch to bring to school, if i 'm goin to school, cos i 'm pretty broke as well, cos of the overdrive from Garo. Guess i would need to do some research on what i need to get within my budget to last me a month. God~~ poor is bad...

Gary was showing us this Living Dead doll the other day and one of the doll caught my eyes, and i like it very much, but apparently the shop sells in a bloody set. So i guess i'll have to wait til i get richer and hv it shipped from elsewhere. The name of the doll was death, i really like the mask cos it reminds me of skull man and skullomania from Street fighter Alpha. LOL.

Today i had a new hair-cut...yea, as always, the auntie commented that my crown is very sparse...*buuzzzit~~(sound effect of arrow goin thru my heart) But i guess it's pretty common to me now that i hear it every now and den, cos it really is thinning. Lack of sleep, diet and lack of exercise...i'm trying my best to salvage it as well..ARGHHH! Well, what can i say to the lady? Shit happens man, meteor jus hit a crater on my crown~~ LOL! I guess if it has to bald, it has to bald, i'll jus bald wif glory den. When it gets to the Mr Professor stage, i'm so gonna go skin head. Zzz, can start stockin on my beanie, caps and bandanas alr~~ The auntie recommended this Ba Wang brand shampoo, haiz~ might as well try it, since i'm too poor to go to hair building centers~~ T___T Help Med!Help Ling! Help Gary! *smells kinda weird tho.

Overslept today, and couldn't go to school to help Fuwen and Amos for the photoshoot. I'm SO SORRY!!! Think i overworked yesterday and when i know it, it was alr 230pm. ZZzzz. Took awhile to settle down and i went to catch a quick movie with Melody after we went for a hair cut. We watched Eagle Eye, and i thought the action was pretty good, except for the constant spinning of camera during car chase. Yea, it was pretty entertaining for $6 i guess. I'll leave the details out to let you guys catch it. :) I would give it a 3.5/5 :P

Was surfing ebay jus now and i saw this Another Agito sculpture again, damn its so cool. As always i'm too poor to dwell in this kind of sculpture series toys. The agito sculpture cost app. $400 and the Shadowmoon's throne cost app. $500 and i think that excludes the bloody shipping, how i wish i can print money sometimes. Dun u think?

Today almost died on my way to school~ Too tired, slept at 530am this morning and the day before was 430am. It was taking too much of a toll on my body, but nevertheless, i dragged myself up. The reason for the late nite sleep was because i had trouble determining wat to write for my essay. Yes, its hard to believe that i spent half an hour to write but 4hours to digest the information available and decide what to touch on. Had to cab to school in the end as i was running very late. Yea it sux, my presentation was crap, although i only prepared 4 slides, but during my presentation, i totally forgot to switch my slides. Zzzz, they din matter aniwae. As i still haven really decide on wat to write for my essay, i was practically stumbling thru my presentation, trying to grasp my topic.

After a hellish 3hours presentation class, i finally get to eat lunch. It was pretty fun as 狗狗帮 got to go out again! With special appearance from Elle! Lol, Vincent is in the gang, but i din give him a name as of yet. We grab pastamania and were having fun thinking of a name for Acel and Fuwen's new dog's name for awhile before moving on to Suntec City's Carrefour. Gary had a lot of ideas but we felt it was all to weird, when he finally gave a superb name, Leca or Leica, Acel's name spelled backwards. Gary needed to get some meat and med n me need to grab some Bailey's. Got a sudden call from Garo seller and i had to leave the guys to go get the items. We went to meet the guys again at Gary's house after reaching med's house. It was rather tiring and i knocked out on Gary's HOLY BED...LOL! But it was fun looking at the puppies and dogs playing around. Big rain when i was gettin back home after dinner, it was kinda fun running in the rain wif Med and med's mum..lolol. I guess its more fun to go school when you know that you have a bunch of nice frens there... :)

The art of Studio Photography~

The shock trooper toy i bought the other day. Lol. Its pretty cool actually.

Today was studio photography, and as usual, it was a very enriching experience. :) I have always enjoyed Photography lessons, and i realised that Acel has alot of potential for photography. Her feel and effort is all there in her image. Yea, should grab hold of some of her works and showcase it here. The topic today is to shoot items that reflects light and yep, as Sufan said, its a pain in the ass to do it. I brought Garo Kiramekibito for the shoot and as you can see on the pictures, its kinda like a suicidal mission. LOL! The first image basically shows the problem i need to tackle for the shoot. At that angle, i need to remove the two big white patches on the top and lower portion of the front cover. The overall lighting is too dark as well. The box itself is actually reflecting the white table top. We spent like 1 hour to fix up the white reflection, the end result is the image below. Its not the best, but time din allow me to further adjust the image. Felt really bad though, cos Fuwen, Amos and Melody brought their item and couldn't shoot cos of me. T_T sorry guys~~

Today was really tiring, had to rush Weiming's 8pg portfolio, finally finished it yesterday morning 4am. End up sleeping til 10pm after i reached home jus now...zz man. Still gotta do presentation powerpoint (Ewwwww~!) and essay draft for tomoro.

One good news to share, Acel can finally keep a dog!! YAY!!

This weekend was rather mono and nothing much happened, Last night got activated last minute-ly for a snack out at East coast Park's 24hrs Carl's Junior by my younger brother. Din really wan to eat but my Ji toot brother made me took a bite of the Portobello Mushroom burger, end result, Epic Good game, i bought one meal as well. Sigh~

Ah Tan & Gf came along as well, and we practically jus sat there enjoying the place, burgers and chatting ard. It feels good jus not doin anithin and lazing my time away, apart from the guilt of knowing that i'm supposed to be rushing my assignments for school. LOL! The overdrive last nite made me woke up very late today, supposed to drop by Chinatown Square to check out some toys but it was getting too late, and i'm getting lazy as well. Fuwen called me last nite and told me that Acel wun be getting a dog cos her uncle can't allow her to do it and the chain consequences was too big. i was like Wow~ that's such a pity.. Sigh~ i guess not everyone can jus rear a dog as they wan~

Nothing much to share with everyone, but was surfin ebay and found some nice pictures of the upcoming Batman Dark knight figures from S.I.C. The details is as you can see, imbaly detailed! At least this time round was better, i remembered the Spiderman version was kind of a flop~ I might be gettin the batman, estimated price shud be ard $120~ But i guess priority is on my Masked Rider first! :P I attached some design sketches as well, this time round it was a collaboration with Masakazu Katsura, the illustrator of Zetman. I seriously love this dude's comic man, he was also the illustrator of D.N.A, I.s and some other works..

Any spidey fans out there?! Maybe its a little late on my part~~but Spiderman the web of shadows for psp is gonna be released soon! The gameplay video seems rather cool and i'm so looking forward to the release of this game!! The combos and all!! OMFG!! Spiderman is scheduled to be release on the Oct 21st. Final Fantasy Dissidia is gonna be released soon as well, if you guys dunno what it is, pls! go see the trailer i attached! It will put you of your feet! *to FF fans. The rumoured release date is supposed to be Dec 12th.

Alrite, paper talk, no comments, its rather boring, and i thought i can see the actual paper making process, but no, videos...that is faulty at first, which plays like those japanese ghost movie cursed videos..lolol. I figured it was either the dvd rom, or the video codec. Lol.

Today, i finally met up with LING!!! Lol! And i hv an announcement to make!! I'm finally passing my Throne of the Flower Guards to her. Yep, i finally managed to hear her tok abt her sweet, dramatic, dynamic, out of the world, amazing, crazy, imbaly haomai~, superly gao lat love story of how she got together wif her concurrent Bf~~ Lol! Its always good to tok to an ex snake ops kaki~ We were jus chilling at MOS and toking kok, and times jus passes so fast...We shud do tt more! Anyway, feel kinda sad for her that, her perfect relationship is gonna hv to withstand so many tests, guess someone up there is not always fair to everyone...*sigh. Today was rather mono, starting my day with men's health.. Ya i know, i'm fat alr...zz... so i'm gonna do something about it, its a pretty good magazine i would say, with lots of health and nutrition info for guys~ yea, why else wud it be called men's health den~ just came back from a jog in the park. Recently i think i accidentally step on either Garou or Ruki's shit, damn down on my luck. Keep making mistakes and gettin scolded. :(

Yesterday was a rather long and tiring day, for more info, refer to Gary's blog on the 25th sept. Yep, to summarise we ran all around Singapore to hunt for dog. We basically went from Clementi to Holland V to Ang Mo Kio to Hougang and den to Buangkok. Yea~ Wow~ i dun even go so many places when i go toy hunting or collecting. But all in all, it was really fun, goin around with classmates, joking and chatting...it was like since i was in poly tt i did tt? Lol~ those were times~~ We saw 4 maltese from a same owner, some dogs at pet lover in holland V and one Shih tsu at hougang. The maltese, in my opinion, to be honest...sux~ lolol. Dun really like them, cos they look like they're balding~ guess i'm too used to Chihuahua, lol. But the Shih tsu was really cute, and black and white ones are pretty rare to me, cos i nv see one before. The shih tsu was really adorable and playful. Had some tips exchange with the uncle owner of the shih tsu seller, he sounds really pro. He grooms his own dog! tt's like so cool~ cos u save so much! Anyway, i'm determined to paper train Garou!!! ROAR!!!

Spent most of the afternoon sleeping and stoning on my couch~ and den, finallly i made up my mind to start on my 99 things i love~ LOL, right now, i'm still at the 11th, GOD! Do like this exercise though, because it'll be pure drawing and drawing, which is what i always liked. Gary msn me regarding his hairdye~ but i think i wud need to wait for a few days more to help him do it, unless he pass me the balance tomoro...Cos i have exactly $60 in my bank!! Yea, the result of splurgin on Garo figurines..God i wish this month ends asap. Alrite, back to my work~~*munching on my almond nuts, they're tasteless but exceptionally addicting to munch on~~

If we loved each other truly, i should accept ur flaws, and rightfully i asked the same of you~ i tried to do it, why haven you?

I have a statement to make~~

Dunno what to say today, got too bored and ended up catching Mamma Mia! with Med last minutely after lunch. It was pretty good and funny, although i was skeptical at first. I mean, the audience all uncle and auntie. *shrug. But den its a Tuesday noon, LOL. After that i went hunting for Starwars Dvds but to my disappointment. No have. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. In the end, to satisfy my urge to buy something related to Starwars, i got myself a Clonetrooper from the animation Clone wars. Lol.

Something suddenly came to my mind today, A couple of weeks ago, we were having debate in class. A classmate pointed out that Design is not cheap. It was my group debating that it is not cheap. I fully agree with this statement, and it's not supposed to be in the first place. Opposition's debate was, making use of ik*a as an example. That ik*a has cheap and good design, that's true to a certain extent. But quality and strength of materials was compromised, so when i mention this point, i was stopped by the lecturer and she said, that's not design alr. At that moment, i realised, yeah~ that's true, its not design alr.

But after pondering for awhile...think again...

The same lecturer mentioned earlier that, Designers are problem solvers, and she strongly emphasized this point. Yep i agree on that. That would mean, our design, being a by-product of us, designers, (not yet, but you get what i mean) is the solution? Based on that statement she made, that would mean that my consideration of strength and quality wasn't wrong? Because, the solution is made up of the selection of material, design, cost, etc... If we are problem solver, won't that mean that people who come to us, would want problem solved for good? Instead of getting lower strength and quality product? Most of our lecturers, always emphasize on selection of materials, strength, durability and design of our packaging and some other 3d product. So am i wrong to say that, strength and quality being part of material selection is part of design as well? And no, i'm not saying that ik*a products is lousy, because i myself love their products, but we all know that, they use lower quality materials for their products and their product is not as strong, but most of the customers are ready to accept that for the price they can save. The point here is just that, a good design that works is definitely not cheap.

Upon my conclusion to the previous thoughts, something else this lecturer said made me wondered too. Design is all around us. Every step we make, the way we use our utensils, hold our tools, try to get ourselves unstuck in a road full of junks, a new piece of design for a magazine, all this is design. Upon hearing what she said, i thought, that would be true, if designer is problem solver, den design is simply, in her term, solutions, ideas, or even inventions. Then, she proceed to tell us to name what we feel is the best designed item in our life ever. Someone named lightbulb, i thought fair enough, its one of the greatest invention and design for our life. She said no, that's an invention. I was appalled by that statement. She proceed to name, takeaway packaging and further elaborated, but my thoughts drifted away. I was thinking, is there any difference between design and inventions den? Lol.

I guess, its simply dangerous that, as a design lecturer, that you simply try to impose your opinion and ignore doctrines onto unaware students. If you really want to do so, at least elaborate on the important points of why it is so and not simply make a statement and say it is so.

I guess that's all~~ niteeez all, sorry for the long article, and i do hope u read and share with me your thoughts. :)

Today abit lor soh~ so i posted 3 different posting. After lecture today, i went shopping for Garou's couch and cushion, we finally managed to get a similar one from the original owner at ikea. It was really well received by Garou, he is sleeping on it now and don't make as much noise as well. Ruki is starting to get used to Garou as well, and they were sleeping side by side. Its really adorable. Had to force myself to exercise today, end result is...paralysed now. Only my finger can move now. LOL!
